A friend referred me to Robben and Sons for a new furnace and A/C installation. I had a really old gas furnace and NO A/C in my house. The price was really good to replace my gas furnace with a high efficient gas furnace and newly installed A/C unit. The installers were friendly and professional. I am extremely pleased with my new furnace and A/C unit. I would highly recommend this business to anyone that needs installation and/or maintenance on their current systems. Wonderful experience with this company from office staff, sales, installers, and technicians.

I absolutely cannot say enough wonderful things about Robben and Sons. I had to have a boiler replaced with a heat pump and tankless water heater and they were the only company to honestly pass along all of the factory rebates, they were the best price, best customer service and seemless install. Anthony, the lead, was great to work with, made sure I understood all of the new equipment, made me laugh and treated his crew well. It sounds funny to gush about a furnace crew, but this company was hands down the best experience and the best price. I value their honestly and work ethic. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

I bought my home in 1989 and old natural gas furnace had Robbens and Sons label on it. They maintained the old one and when time for a new one they installed that natural gas furnace and have been maintaining it too. Recently had an issue with the new one and repair was timely, efficient, and very reasonable. They are wonderful folks to deal with and all the ones I have met have been friendly, respectful, on time and highly competent!

A few weeks ago, I noticed that our heat pump didn’t seem like it was putting out any heat. I gave Robben & Sons Heating a call. They had set me up with an appointment for one of the technicians to come out. My heat pump was at least 15 years old and I had an idea that it had probably reached the end of its life expectancy.
The technician, Josh arrived on time. I might add, I did reschedule from my original appointment. When I did reschedule, the staff, particularly Mary Jo at Robben & Sons were very professional, accommodating and was able to set me up with another appointment within a week. Josh ran some diagnostics and gave me the news that I was hoping not to hear….no refrigerant and weak heat strips. Josh recommended replacement and I agreed. He offered to have a project consultant to come out and give me an estimate. Fortunately, the consultant had an opening later in the day.
The consultant, whose name is Roz, arrived and looked over my situation. Roz asked some questions regarding our heating and cooling patterns of my wife and me. We were limited to options as we live in a manufactured home. Roz worked out a solution which included increasing the size of my unit to a Bosch 3-ton condenser from a 2-ton. I agreed with this as I always thought the 2-ton was undersized for this size house and the number of windows we have. I sold HVAC many, many years ago, so I have a little knowledge of the products. I was happy with the product and felt the price was within the reasonable limits. Sold!
So, I was set up for installation within a reasonable time. Matt and Anthony showed up on time and worked the entire day installing my new system. During the installation, Matt answered the questions that I had and provided valuable training on my new thermostat. The thermostat is very cool. It is a Bryant Housewise with wi-fi. Away from the house, I can check the current temperature and increase the heat or turn on the cooling side. It gives me a weather forecast as well as other options. The install team finished up and cleaned up leaving the area spotless.
There are a lot of HVAC companies and they all have different prices, higher and lower from what I paid. Bottom line is the office and management staff is professional and customer oriented. The techs, sales staff and install team are professional and customer oriented. They sell a quality product with a service staff that backs it up. As you can see, I was happy with the process and would recommend Robben & Sons to anyone.

I COULDN'T HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER EXPERIENCE
My old heating system (furnace and water heater) failed in January. I called Robben & Sons and connected with Colin. The next day he was on-site, provided an inspection and simple parts and labor quote. I say simple because his product overview was professional, clear and concise. No guesswork. R&S offered high quality product at competitive prices. The deciding factor was they could complete installation that week. No other company had the quality/price I wanted and most were a week out or more from potential install. I'm very thankful to have worked with the team at R&S, Colin and the install crew - very well done!

Robben & Sons are very easy to work with. They are honest, thoughtful, prompt, and efficient. Our furnace went out earlier this year, they were very responsive to our needs and quickly got us back up and running. Their service people are very nice as is their staff. I highly recommend them.

We have been using Robben & Sons for nearly 50 years maintaining our boiler forced air heating system. And yes it is still going strong thanks to Robben & Sons excellent service and to service tech Randal.

Robben & Sons did a superb job replacing my air handling unit, heat pump, and thermostat. The system they replaced was old, and the team persevered through the obstacles, straight through to the correct solutions. They left me with an even better system than I expected. Sales, Office, Installation Team, Project Manger - all were excellent to work with, and I highly recommend Robben & Sons.

A/C failed after last heat wave. Luckily got a service call within 3-4 days.now Could not be repaired. Tom came out, gave us a quote and proposed install date by end of day. Installed August 10 and it is fabulous. House stays cool and very quite. Staff, installers and repair personnel are GREAT!

We had our furnace replaced and added central air to our home. Five-star experience from the salesperson (Colin); to the office staff; to the installation team. Colin provided four different price/equipment options, sized the equipment to meet the needs of our home, and worked with us on our final choice. They helped arrange zero-interest financing. The installation team showed up right on time and the installation was efficient, neat and unintrusive. After the installation was completed, Anthony walked us through the system and helped program the new thermostat. We also received a follow-up call from the office. All in all, a great experience.

Every step of the way and every employee I talked to it was a great experience. Old AC needed updating and they were upfront with me about maintenance costs and bang-for-the-buck for each price point in my options. When there was a delay in getting my unit they found a way to get a slightly better one on time and at the same price point. Can't say enough nice things about the installers, let me ask questions and were just genuinely nice people. Left the work area just as they found it and the new unit has had no problem keeping the house cool on the last few hot days we've had here. This will be my cooling and heating company as long as I live here if they maintain the excellence in service I've seen so far.

Robben & Sons is absolutely terrific. We set a clear deadline at the beginning of the project and despite complications, they delivered on time. Our job was complicated but they identified creative solutions and did so with great attitudes. 100% of the employees were kind and helpful and bent over backwards to fix a problem that emerged. Oh, they were also reasonably-priced. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Robben & Sons has the everything I needed in getting my central AC systems tuned up and updated for the coming summer months. I appreciated the service, expertise, efficiency and financing flexibility all making for a great experience. I have used Robben & Sons for many years servicing both sides of my duplex and can confidently say you don't have to look anywhere else for your heating and cooling needs.

Robben and sons is my new "go to" company. Amanda in the office was a pleasure to deal with and she made the schedule of my service quick and easy and had the knowledge to answer all my questions. I'm a landlord in SE Portland and used Robben & Sons Heating Inc to progressively install a total of eight (8) new air condition systems and eight (8) new furnace replacements beginning in early 2022 and completing all work just a few days ago. I could not be happier with their work. Their product line is excellent, pricing is competitive with on-schedule delivery, and they smoothly coordinated their work with each tenant. They are a family-owned company and would give them my highest recommendation for others to seriously consider them for your HVAC work.

The technician was excellent. He fixed something (rather than telling us to replace the whole assembly for a lot more money and a lot more time without heat.) He saved us money, he got our house warm again, and he was a terrific guy. We will be using Robben for all of our maintenance, and when we get around to replacing our boiler, we will use them for that installation as well.

I can't recommend Robben & Sons highly enough. They offered a creative solution to enhance our 107 year old basement resulting in a vastly improved form and function. The livability and value of our home has significantly improved thanks to them. They were professional, kind, on time and worked within our budget. Great firm from the owner to the office coordination team to the system installers to our annual service tech Randall. Randall originally bailed us out during the winter when our old furnace boiler wasn't working, then suggested we review a new system, the owner came out, did the estimate and we went for it; the install team did all as speced, within the quote. this was about four years ago and we've had Randall back every year for the annual maintenance to keep this furnace in top shape. Recommended company for old furnace maintenance, new installs and annual checkups.

After several attempts to fix my system with no success. I hired Robben and Sons, they sent out a tech names JJ, he showed up on a mission. Hi diagnosed the problem got the repairs scheduled, they came back as scheduled and fixed the problem. Everything is working as it should. I’m relieved! Thank you!
