From start to finish John and his team were very professional and easy to work with. We had hired them to paint all of the woodworking in our living room including cabinetry, pocket doors, huge wall length window, fireplace. A job that required a lot of patience, precision and detail work. They were very respectful which I appreciated, especially as I work from home (i.e. mask wearing during covid and keeping everything clean). We had asked them to match a specific Pantone color for the paint color which involved numerous trips to ensure right color and accurate match. They did an absolutely excellent job. We get loads of compliments on the color and the meticulousness of the work they did. We will absolutely hire them again and highly recommend.

John and his team are a real pleasure to work with. They did an excellent job painting the interior of our home, which now looks great. But they were also good guys to be around. Since I work from home, I was in the house with them for the duration of the job. Just a nice group of thoughtful and easy going guys. I also think we got an excellent value given how large and difficult the job was (high ceilings and substantial wallpaper removal). Will be recommending J J && M to all my friends who need a paint job!

This first question in the review is, (What do you like about this business?); my answer is all of the above. John is very professional. He visits the job site, writes a clear and detailed contract, which explains in detail what he will do, lists the fee and explains how he expects to be paid. John met me on a Sunday and was able to meet my tight deadline of a move-in date with out any problems. John keeps his word and keeps to his commitments.

My project was a cooperative apartment in Fort Lee, which required a "Certificate of Insurance of Liability from all contractors. I mentioned this to John and without hesitation he said he knew of the form and complying with wouldn't be a problem.

The apartment had oak flooring throughout and before painting all the floors were covered with craft paper, which made for an extremely neat paint job. All the walls were repaired and the apartment looked top notch after the painting was done. All this work was done for a fair price.

John Hroncich and his crew are the best, they take care to do a great job. In addition, they are easy to talk with and great to have work for you. It was my lucky day when I went on Google to find a painting company, found JJ & M painting and hired John. If you're looking for a great painter, hire John and crew, you'll be happy because your job will look great.

I used JJ&M 3 separate times, and was extremely pleased each time. We had the living room/dining room/foyer painted, and they did an awesome job! I've gotten so many compliments on how my house looked! The painters were very careful covering furniture, and cleaned up after the job was complete. (and John, the owner, was very patient, especially in helping me to select colors.) We also used him last year to replace our bedroom doors, and again to paint our front porch. Very happy with their work. Excellent all around! I would strongly recommend this company.

Fabulous experience, Highly recommend. We have both dry walk and plaster walls and repairs, prep, painting and cleanup was professional and well done. We had our house exterior painted and are happy with the results from JJ&M. John and his crew are friendly, hardworking guys. They worked 6 days a week to complete our project during some of the hottest days of the summer.

My wife and I bought a house and wanted both floors painted. John patiently helped us find the colors that we fell in love with after multiple swatches. The paint held up to drawings that our daughter put on the wall, the walls were easily cleaned. The painters were professional, punctual, and a lot faster than if I had painted myself. Their price was more than fair. I recommend them to everyone for the quality work they did on my first home.

I had a incredible experience with JJ&M Painting. After working with several contractors on paint jobs, I have to say that John was a pleasure to work with! Not only was he reasonable in price, but he courteous, prompt (almost excessively so haha) and professional.

His team of 3 finished the job exactly as estimated (painting living room, kitchen, dining, hallways and doors plus ceilings). They patched all areas as needed, took off vent covers and electrical coverings to make sure things weren't just 'painted over'.

In addition, my wife and I decided to take on the job of painting a small basement area with wood panels (biggest regret ever lol) ... but he took no offense to that and instead even shared tips and hints that made our process much easier.

We needed him to come back for some touchups later (due to timing we had to do work on the floors AFTER painting which caused some damage) and he was prompt and willing to work with us on that as well.

All-in-all, an absolute pleasure to work with and I would call him back anytime I needed more painting done! Thank you John!
