Our pipe from the house to the street was blocked, and we had to replace it.

After receiving two proposals from two companies, I called Chris from Dutra. He arrived in less than an hour later, and checked everything. He made us feel we were in good hands and explained the process. He gave us an amazing offer and came the morning after with a permit, which was wonderful since it was an emergency repair.

The Dutra A team arrived and in less than 8 hours we had a new pipe installed. Chris answered every question we had and always with a smile. We highly recommend Dutra!!!

Dutra was incredible from start to finish! Mike and his team were on it- even on the Thanksgiving holiday weekend- our main sewer pipe was crushed and once Dutra came in to evaluate -we had a working system again in 3 days. They had to dig under our driveway with major equipment and replace pipes. They were professional and efficient and so helpful! I recommend them without hesitation.

I had a small crack in my sewer line that was leaking into my basement. Was more like a trickle of water, so a nonemergency. I emailed Dutra and received a call back within 10 minutes. Within 20 minutes Kyle came over to inspect the issue. I ended up needing a new sewer line due to aging, cracks, and roots.

When your home’s sewage line fails, its a big deal! We had our basement flooded from our laundry room wasteline. Our plumber said our main sewer line under the cement slab was broken after snaking it and hitting a blockage. How were we going to get this fixed!? After doing some research online and getting local recommendations, I came across Dutra Sewer. I am so relieved to have found them! Chris and Kyle were responsive and professional. They reassured me they would swiftly handle the situation. They checked the line with a video camera, pinpointed the break and fixed the pipe within a couple of hours of work. We were back in a functioning house in no time! Prompt, professional and personable family business. I highly recommend them.

I had a Sewer Line which I found out was completely obliterated Remedied By Kyle & Chris from Dutra. It took them 2 hours to locate line because it was coming out at a 45 degree angle from property. They worked all day from 8am till almost 5pm to make sure We were back up and running. Kyle was very responsive to all my calls and text messages and let me know what had to be done before they arrived at property. Chris & Kyle were very understanding of my unfortunate situation and we were able to work out short term financing. There is a Retention wall about 5ft High that was in the way of this project. Dutra might not be the lowest Quote you receive but they are very knowledgeable and performed the work as expected. I cannot thank them enough for completing the Job swiftly and Having my family return to normal life in our home. I would Highly Recommend Dutra you ever have a Serious Sewer line problem. These guys will get job done !!!

I had a problem last week with a connection from the sewer line from my house out to my septic system. Unfortunately, the builder had neglected to encase the pipe in concrete or gravel, so it was completely sheared.

Mike Dutra came to the house within an hour of the issue (Thursday afternoon). By Friday morning, a crew (led by his son Kyle), came first thing and repaired the entire issue - and made the system far more serviceable going forward. They were incredibly professional and mindful of our home. When they were finished, it was as if no one had even been there. I cannot recommend Dutra more highly.

I had Mike and his family come over and install a new water service on July 29 2019 and I could not say it more that they are absolutely professional and did a great job. Our flood happened on a Friday (July 27) and after getting a recommendation from someone I called them on Saturday afternoon and was able to schedule for Monday morning. I will say and having 25+ years in construction, Mike, his sons and crew came in did the job correctly and left like they were never there. No BS just came in and did a stellar job. It’s nice to see people who still take pride into what they do. And after 6 months, I had to call about something else after reminding Mike who I was he remembered me and helped me with another issue. Thanks Dutra for your help.

This review is long overdue. Our basement flooded about three months ago from a blockage. We called a plumber who cleared the blockage, but informed us that the problem would occur again and couldn't say when. He advised that the blockage was from the sewer line and that he would need to dig into our finished basement. When the basement flooded again a day later, we contacted another plumber to clear the clog. Like the first plumber, he advised that there was a blockage that needed to be cleared. He highly recommended we contact Dutra for help. They were on site the next day and advised that the work could be done from the outside. No need to dig into our finished basement. They showed up on time, contacted PSE&G, the town and completed the work the same day. The digging done on the property was doner from the foundation of the house to the curb. They were careful with the yard, replaced the dirt and reseeded in the areas they dug. I wish I knew which seeds they used, my lawn looks fabulous in those areas. Their price was a lot less than my first quote and was reasonable. Chris and Kyle did an awesome job, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone that needs sewer work done.

Highly recommend! I had an emergency at my home with a collapsed lateral sewer pipe from under my driveway apron thru to the main sewer pipe connection. They showed up on time and got immediately to work. No nonsense, no BS. Work was professional, thorough and very neat. Dutra took care of all permitting, bonding and police coverage quickly. Chris and his crew made sure that the sewer line was clear of any clogs and/or debris from the house thru to the main before they left. Job was completed in one (1) day. Thank you again!

Mike was great. Roto Rooter said we should replace our sewer line. Mike read the report and said we didn’t need it & turned us away. Hard to find that kind of honesty these days. Would definitely recommend him to anyone with a problem & if we ever do need to replace our line he’s the 1st person we will call.

CHRIS DUTR replaced the old clay sewer line that was backing up.
His work team was efficient and didn't do any damage to the lawn.
Overall an excellent value compared to the uncertainty of cleaning out the lines periodically and keeping the old clay sewer lines.

Mike was so awesome. He came over last minute to check on the sewer line of a house we are purchasing. He was kind and truthful about what we would need to repair. He treated us like family. We are first-time homebuyers and have a baby and you could tell her really cared about us.
