Theresa Stroot, DO

I was seeing Dr Stroot as my primary care doctor at an office that was 15 minutes from my home and was very happy with her care. She moved to an office that was 60 minutes away. Because of the longer drive I tried a couple of other doctors that were closer. Neither of them were as thorough or as easy to talk to as Dr Stroot. So I decided the longer drive is worth it. She also has a sense of humor the others didn't have. I would recommend her. Also medical assistant Kara is excellent. She is always friendly and engaging and is very good at her job.

Dr. Stroot is amazing. She has not rushed through any appointments that I have had with her. She’s been very thorough and patient. She stays on top of things, and you will not have to wait for ages for a PA to get to your insurance or a referral to be sent to a specialist. The office has been excellent when getting messages to the doctor; I usually hear back from them the same day. Dr. Stroot truly cares about her patients.

We love Dr. Stroot, Kara and everyone at this clinic! I'm retired from health care and would recommend this clinic. My husband and I both receive great primary care ( and urgent care when we need it) from here.

My children have been seeing Dr. Stroot for about 2 years now and we love her! We have moved out of state and will no longer be going to this office, but Dr. Stroot and the staff have been wonderful. We will really miss this office

Dr. Theresa Stroot and staff always provide me with the best Medical Care. I suffer with Asthma and other ailments and as long as I have been under Dr. Stroots care I am always assured that she can give me the care I need. So I just want to say to her Thank You very Much Dr. Stroot.

Dr. Stroot and her staff are very efficient. They are always willing to answer questions I have concerning the care of my parents. I highly recommend Dr. Stroot and her staff if you are looking for a doctor that cares.

She is the best doctor ever really cares about her patience

By far the best physician I’ve ever had!

Dr. Stroot is a great doctor, but the way they have their billing set up sucks! I have always paid on my bills. I don't make much but I continually paid because I am a responsible person. When I got a bigger bill and tried to set up a payment plan offering monthly payments of what I could afford, I was told their system wouldn't allow a plan with that low of a payment. So it went into collections. I was sued. I appeared at my court date. I was told to call the collections/law office to work out a payment arrangement. I called. I was told they couldn't take any less than $300 a month. I told them I don't have $300 a month. They didn't know what to tell me. Now I have a letter for another court date where they are going to garnish my wages. So the only thing I know to do is take out a loan for the nearly $3000 from my bank. A bill which will be a lower monthly payment, but still a struggle for me to pay. I will NOT go back to this doctor! So beware if this is your doctor and you get a big bill. Especially if you have a high deductible insurance plan and you don't make a lot of money. Something is wrong with this system.

Might be a great Dr but I will never find out. Called to make an appointment and the lady answering the phone was just plain rude.

Needed to find a new physician after having a baby to manage my blood pressure, because my OB no longer would prescribe my medicine. I went to my appointment here with my six week old, completely exhausted, still recovering from my c section. He was crying and I was overwhelmed, but the staff was making me fill out excessive paperwork that could have been done later. (I filled out the important ones.) I decided to leave to go breastfeed my baby, I thought I could call back to reschedule my appointment. But now I’ve been black listed by the staff and they won’t allow me to reschedule. I don’t even know if Dr. Stroot knows! I was devastated after that phone call! I’m new in town and this practice is closest to my house. I assumed medical professionals would be kinder and more understanding of the physical, mental, and emotional toll that the post partum period has on a new mom and allow me to reschedule.
