You feel well taken care of here from the office staff (welcoming and knowledgeable) to the hygienist (gentle and thorough), to the dental assistant (skillful and kind) to Dr. Helfand (he cares about your dental health and works to ensure your best wellbeing).

I went to to rockaway dental center because i had pain in my tooth. I waited for a long time to see a dentist because i dont like the way most dentistry make me feel. After my visit I have to say this is the best dentistry i have been too all my life. Everyone from the Dentist to the receptionist were awesome to deal with. Nalani the dental hygienist was so nice to me and was very gentle with my cleaning. I finally found a dentist office that i can be proud of. I want to thank everyone for their hospitality. I will recommend this place to everyone i know.

Tammy is so friendly and very helpful in scheduling an appointment convenient for me. Nalani is a pleasant dental hygienist. Dr Helfand is very competent, experienced, and knowledgeable. Best of all this is a business that values freedom and does not discriminate against people who don't want to wear face cloths or get medicines that they don't want.

I went to Rockaway Dental Center today for the first time and was very impressed! The staff was very friendly especially my dental hygienist Nalani. She talked me through the entire appointment and did a thorough job. The office environment was clean, welcoming, and fun. I would definitely recommend this dentist to anyone looking for a great experience!

All the receptionists are very friendly and competent. Tammy has been there a long time and treats the patients like family. Corina, my dental hygienist is the best I ever had. She understands my teeth sensitivity. I go every three months.
Dr. Adam is a rock star! He put a Maryland bridge in for me years ago and it was the right call. He is a straight shooter and I trust the team. I enjoy going them, as much as you can possibly enjoy going to the dentist! Lol. Keep up the good work.

If I could they’d get higher stars. I had my first cleaning there with Nelani. I must say out of all the years I’ve had cleanings Nelani cleaned my teeth the best I’ve ever had. They felt so clean and cared for I was amazed. I left my original dentist to try this place out and wish I found them sooner. My husband had an emergency with a tooth and they told him come right in took care of him quick and effective I gave them a chance and now have our daughter starting there next week. The dentist comes straight out and tells you like it is he doesn’t sweep anything under the rug.👍🏼

I had a wonderful first experience at Rockaway Dental Center, and lucky for me I had my appointment during Halloween season and got to enjoy their outstanding decorations. Even without the fun Halloween decor, the inside of the office is very modern and fun. The hygienist was really friendly, gentle, and quick during my cleaning. I only interacted with Dr. Helfand shortly but he was super nice as well. I would definitely come back to this center because they offer evening hours and we’re very easy to schedule.

Great team, Dr., was great and fixed my tooth and it fits perfectly like the original one. Just a fantastic team.

I’ve had good fortune of having Dr.Helfand as my dentist in Rockaway NJ for quite some time now. He has taken care of my entire family. He has done all types of procedures on me and my family. We trust his work 100% and all of his advice completely all of his work has been phenomenal. Great staff very friendly and professional. I highly recommended!

We send our whole family to Rockaway dental. Dr. Helfand and staff are great and very welcoming. Office is always fun to visit as they enjoy decorating for the holidays.

Knowledgeable, sweet and attentive staff that listens to your needs. The doctor is very friendly and enjoys making small talk so you aren't uncomfortable. Personally, I'm always comfortable at the dentist, it's like a spa experience for me.

But everyone here is top notch and I couldn't recommend me them any more.

I love going to Rockaway Dental Center, the staff is very friendly. They have televisions that show shows I watched growing up, it helps me relax. There is collectibles of Marvels characters, and the Dr. Helfard is the Hulk (and he really looks like him).

Great service! I normally hate going to the Dentist or just getting a cleaning, for that reason i hadn't gone in a long time. I went to get a cleaning with Renae and was happy i did. She is very professional and most of all made me feel really comfortable during my time there. I will def go back again !

I hace been a patient of Dr. Helfands for about a year now. I always look forward to visiting the office. The dentist, the staff, the staff and the hygienist hace all treated me with nothing but kindness and respect. I feel safe comfortable in their hands. I love the decor. The office is filled from top to bottom with super hero pictures and memorabilia. It is always easy to schedule and appointment. I can't say enough good things about this dental office.

Dr. Helfand knows what he’s doing when it comes to teeth! I hated my smile and wanted a straight set of pearly whites for years. I’m glad that I chose to go here among other clinics. Dealing with Nikki and Renae has always been a pleasure! Nikki the Office Manager is responsive and always able to fit me in no matter the schedule. Polite and very informative as well, never have I had a poor experience. I've always had the hygienist Renae for my cleanings and my teeth never look so good. I used to use another office before learning about Rockaway Dental and Renae has always been gentle brought my mouth back to life after being told it would be a long hard road by other offices. I couldnt recommend Rockaway Dental or dealing with Renae and Nikki more!

I have been going to Rockaway Dental for a several years now. Just recently I was in pain and I called the office and was told I can come in the very same day. I also mentioned to the staff that I hadn't been there in a year or so and they told me it was no problem. The staff was very professional and friendly. As soon as I walked in they immedialtely updated my records and took me right in to be seen. Dr. Helfand was very considerate and patient with me. He ordered x-rays and and took the time to consult with me my options. He recommened that I have a root canal and that he could begin the process right than and there, I was so thrilled that I didn't have to make another appointment. He was very professional, caring and made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. He also made sure I was pain-free and talked me through all the steps. Its nice to know that you can walk in to a medical facility and be treated with respect and know that their number one priority is you. Thank you to Dr. Helfand and staff for your continued support, kindness and excellent customer service!
