Fun park! A lot of trails. It was really buggy though so we ended up only doing the Little Turtle Trail. It was pretty easy and well marked. Plenty parking and bathroom facilities. Highly recommend for getting outside and enjoying nature!

Lovely overlook of Ohio and Great Miami Rivers. Roads to and inside park in good condition. Family friendly hiking trails combined with playgrounds, two historic buildings, Native American mounds and information signage provide visitors a unique park experience. The visitor center has clean and modern restroom facilities and drinking fountain. Other restrooms are available at playgrounds and picnic areas.

My dad and I have been coming to this park for over two decades and it never ceases to amaze! Plenty of trails that overlook the river and some that walk straight through the meadows with plenty of wildlife to see.

I've seen turtles, all kinds of Hawks, and even some rare birds. This past weekend we caught a glimpse of a yellow billed cuckoo! That's all without mentioning the native trees and flowers as well as some Native American history. Great place to hike, trail run, or just get away from this city for a minute.

Love this tucked away park consisting of Native Heritage and knowledge of the lands history. Shawnee has beautiful views, peaceful walking trails, along with Native burial mounds and strategic gathering areas for groups or families. Park has a warm and inviting feeling, enjoy.

An awesome park on the far west side of city Cincinnati with several great hiking trails for all ages. Nice playgrounds for kids, dog friendly, and seems pretty clean.

A great walk and a beautiful overlook. The first hill was a bit of a claim but otherwise it was a pretty easy little hike. Go all the way to the point so that you can see the river and the bridge but it's totally worth going through the borough pits.

A really nice park that has a cool history. I enjoyed all of the trails and each one does a good job of showing off the plants and wildlife. Take time while there to appreciate the aboriginal history of the area.

We do a 4 mile loop through the old golf course - great for "vertical gain", with 700 feet in only 4 miles - as part of our backpacking "shakedown". Also love the other official trails - hiked today past the Dan Beard memorial by the Lookout.

Gorgeous place with a few easy/moderate trails to explore. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get out and see nature that might not be comfortable with intense hiking. There's also numerous picnic areas, bathrooms (all super clean and maintained), and playgrounds.

Really nice & friendly park. If you are hiking i recommend the Little Turtle Trail, so you can have views of the Miami River, non stop at good pace its a 45’m loop. If you find craving some more hiking finish that trail and continue to Blue Jacket Trail (one next to the other), views here are not that great, but its good to continue working out and enjoying nature.

The park has converted the golf course into a "nature" trail. The cart paths make for great trails. This will give you a serious workout with the hills. Do the whole layout for 4 miles.

Too bad I got there a little too late, still park ranger was helpful, knowledgeable and professional, got to explore some trails before it got too dark.
Trails not difficult to manage but it can get dark very quickly, best to bring a flashlight if visiting late in the evening.

A wonderful retreat from the busy life of the city. The trails are nice with great history to the "fort." Going out on a weekday makes for an especially relaxing time with very few others present. With foliage, sound from the nearby Duke Energy plant is minimized.

Pretty interesting little park. Fun facts are posted throughout the trails and the hikes aren't difficult.
Dog friendly!

Beautiful area. Quiet place for a stroll. We went by the cabin and there is a nice wide path behind it. I took my walker and found it easy to navigate as long as I stayed near the middle. There was not any signage to say where the trail led or how long it was, so I did turn around so as not to get too far out.
