I've used Carmerica as my go-to for automotive repairs for over 25 years. They have always treated me fair and provided reasonable prices for excellent work.

They've NEVER taken advantage by performing unneeded services and they provide honest assessments for repairs. They have EARNED my trust.

I dropped a car that I just purchased for my daughter for them to determine if any repairs or maintenance was needed. They performed a thorough inspection of the vehicle, including tires, battery, brakes, all fluids, etc., all at no cost. They came back to me and told me everything was good and provided a detailed written report. I don't believe that every car repair business out there would have done what they did for me.

My daughter's car started bleeding brake fluid last night. Had an appointment setup to take it to Big O, but we found out they are not an authorized service provider with AAA, so we had to have it towed to one of their servicers. Carmerica was the closest and after looking through their Google reviews, we decided to go with them. I'm so happy we did! They didn't get the car until probably 1pm and by 230pm, they called and said it needed new brake lines, pads and rotors. Here comes the $1000 price quote I thought, but nope, they quoted $660, and this was before the 10% AAA discount they offer. They also said they would do their best to get it done today. They kept in touch with where they were at with it, and at 5pm (when they close) they called and said it was done and if we could get there within 30 minutes, they would wait for us. From Jennifer helping get us in last minute, to Jacob who went over the issues/costs, to Kevin who waited after hours for us to come pick it up, everyone was so genuinely nice and friendly. It's rare to see that kind of customer service these days, especially from an auto mechanic. And the price!!! Definitely fair and affordable, especially for an unexpected expense. I already made an appointment next week for my truck!

I had a flat tire on my 2019 Corvette on the interstate late on a Thursday evening and was towed to Carmerica. I was there when they opened the next morning at 0800. My tire is not an off the shelf size, but they were able to procure a set of rear tires from the Michelin warehouse in Louisville and have me on the road by noon that day. The technician also pointed out that one of the rims was slightly bent on the inside edge. A good observation. These guys are great to deal with.

I am so thankful that I called this place to help me with my flat tire as I was driving through the area. They were so kind on the phone and were even able to fit me in quickly on their busy schedule that day to get me back on the road. Truly genuine people and I would highly recommend them!

I wanted to share my recent experience with Carmerica in Sellersburg, and give a nice shout out to Kevin over there. It is people like him that make a small community better.

I moved to the area from Washington State in June and drove my Tacoma across the country hauling a trailer. The whole way I had quite a bit of steering wheel shaking and I attributed this to possibly suspension parts that might have been wearing out. Before I left I had replaced my rear tires with some new wheels new which were more of a budget tire, but I figured they would be okay, because after all a tire is just a tire….
Wednesday I talked to Kevin about my steering shaking issue and he said to bring the truck in and they would take a look at it. What the found is that the two front tires were shot and the treads were messed up. Kevin recommended either finding 2 similar tires to the back or putting on 4 new ones. I was leaning toward matching the front to the back, but then I began to think about the fact that I didn’t want more budget tires on my truck. The road noise was quite loud and the ride was not good, so I called in and talked to Kevin once or twice trying to make a decision and he was very patient with my while providing me with multiple quotes and suggestions. In the end I decided to go with Toyo open county AT3’s which I can say now is the best decision that I could have made. I immediately drove from the shop home, loaded up and drove 3 hours away down to Elkton. This was the most comfortable drive I have taken in my Tacoma for the last 40,000 miles plus. The open country’s are amazing and so smooth.

Forgot to mention that the first visit when they took my truck and diagnosed the bad tires was not even charged. I insisted on giving them something but was told not to worry about it.

Kevin was referred to me by my brother in law, and I will do my best to send more business his way. This shop is not out to take advantage of people, but they’re here to help people make big decisions and keep folks safe on the road. I walked in, had never met Kevin before, and over the next 48 hours he became someone whose advice I would trust 100%. Customer service is everything and I give 5 out of 5 stars for Carmerica!!

We would highly recommend taking your business to Carmerica! Family of 4 traveling and had a tire blowout on the interstate. Called 9 different tire stores and this was only one that had tires in stock for a Toyota Highlander (pretty common car). The owner was friendly and agreed to work us into his full schedule on a Saturday. Everyone we encountered there was friendly and did not seem bothered at all to add more work to their plates, and in today’s world of service that is rare. They checked every detail to make sure we could get back to our vacation safely. While waiting we got to see interactions with several customers who were leaving just as pleased as we were. Great location right off the interstate! We expected an inflated price being it was an emergency situation but not at all! 4 tires with all the works was cheaper than what we were pricing when trying to locate a place that had tires for our car. Give them a try!

I came here for a second opinion for a rear brake job that my cars dealership said I needed. A friend recommended this place and I was not disappointed. Kevin the owner not only sat down with me to explain that I was still a little early on needing a break job but did not even charge me to look at the car to give me his advice. I get the feeling that this place is honest and would do a great job in servicing my car in the future. Great Find

After the strut went out in our vehicle on the way home from Tennessee, Kevin fit us in and did an amazing job getting my vehicle back on the road as fast as they could. This place was very accommodating and we couldn’t have asked for a better place for us to have to have service done.

Great local place to get your car serviced! Kevin always takes care of me and only place I'll take my vehicles, and the only place I recommend to friends and family.

If you want great customer service, fair prices & just a great overall experience this is the place. The local owners are the best. On a long drive and our tire pressure kept reading low… stopped by here over their lunch hour and they still got us in and out within 30 minutes! Friendly and very clean… thanks so much for making our road trip more enjoyable!

I purchased my tires here. I paid for a cheaper set of tires, but when I returned to pick my SUV up, I had a huge surprise waiting. Kevin explained that the wrong tires got delivered, and instead of making me come back another day, he upgraded my tires to the best tires they had in stock. Way better tires than I purchased! Literally I paid for the cheapest set, but got the most expensive set and Kevin did not charge me anything extra. Who does that? No one!!!! I couldn’t believe it. The customer service here at Car America is second to none! If you are ever in the market for tires, I would check here first!! They will take good care of you. I will never buy tire’s anywhere else! I am a traveler from Arkansas and on a Saturday my vehicle would not start. Had it towed in to this location and the mechanics pin point my problem. They worked very hard on making sure to install a new starter plus made sure everything else were okay on my 2008 Honda CRV. Very friendly staff and extremely professional! Thanks So Much!!!

Excellent service. I had a flat tire in the late evening on a Friday. I called ahead before closing and the staff was very helpful. As a visitor from out of town passing through I needed quick reliable service. I dropped off my car after hours and the next day my car was ready within an hour. Additionally Carmerica charged me a very fair price. I felt like they cared about me as a customer and clearly they take pride in their work. I highly recommend this location

My Hyundai broke down on Hwy 65 on my way home to Wisconsin. Kevin and all of his crew were AMAZING! I can't say it enough. They were so knowledgeable, helpful and kind . I only wish they were in Wisconsin!

I didnt catch the owners name but he was such a blessing to us. My check engine light came on during our way to our destination. We was 2 hours away from home and I was so nervous. We stayed at a hotel and went to caramerica first thing in the am. He was awesome to work with. Very kind and explained everything. I appreciate his hospitality so much. A+ experience...2 times in past year!
I travel for work, and in the past year have experienced two tire issues while driving through the Louisville area on I-65. Both times Kevin and team have been able to work me in, fix the problem (one time a new tire and another time a plug) and get me on my way. Knowing I now have a reputable resource 2 hours from home gives me great peace of mind when traveling that route!
