Village Inn Restaurant & Lounge

I go there every Sunday for breakfast and have lunch or dinner there 2 or 3 times a week. The food is always excellent and the servers are always nice. The manager makes his rounds here and there and talks to the customers making everything is to their liking. I've never had a bad experience or bad food there.

Old school atmosphere where really good diner food can be found. I love their burgers. Plus they have an attached bar, pool tables and weekly events like karaoke. Breakfast is wonderful too. I always get served fast!

Update:
I took my granddaughter in for breakfast, and Alisha was working. She is just amazing, love her. The food was excellent and the whole place was clean and spotless. This is where the good ends, unfortunately.
Between about 12:40ish and 1:00, I watched Alisha have to tell paying customers coming through the door, they were getting ready to close at 1:00 and turn them away. Out of all the people she had to turn away, only 2 took her up on the suggestion they could eat in the bar. SERIOUSLY?
If the owners of a full service restaurant in a small town like this think that is a good idea, you need to think again. Pretty soon, people are not going to even bother to try to stop if they don't know whether your establishment is going to be open or not. As it cost me $45 for just the 2 of us to have a mid day meal with coffee (which is, by the way, the biggest thing that would keep me from coming back, TOO EXPENSIVE); I wonder how much money they turned away today?
It could be a great restaurant, the food is great, the service is excellent, but the owners are the stopping point and that's too bad in every way. 🤔😥

I saw that Village Inn was under new management with a new menu, so I decided to give them one more try.
I was pleasantly surprised! They have been remodeling and the place is quite different, the old dining room has 4 pool tables and the bar has new large screen tvs to transition to a Sports Bar.
There was a plumber working in the restroom updating the toilets and he mentioned they would also be replacing the existing floors. Fresh paint throughout.
We sat in the restaurant and Charmaine was our waitress. She was amazing and even showed us some of the dishes they offered as she was walking by with them, great marketing!
The prices were excellent as well.
Her service totally restored my faith in VI and I will be going back!

I love this place. Great vintage aesthetic. Great food. Great staff. And. And here's the kicker, on Tuesdays they host a local karaoke league so you get to be entertained by people who can actually sing really really well. These people dress up in costumes on accordance with songs they sing. It's awesome

The taco omelette is big good and perfect ! Chicken fried stake is dam good as well the Denver omelet is great stuffed with extras. Haven't been disappointed yet so we keep coming back. Did I mention the serving size is perfect.

Everyone was really nice the atmosphere was wonderful wasn't very loud at all and the food,,finger licking good

My Sister drove all the way from Ocean Shores because of the Taco Salad. (We could have met 1/2 way, in Centralia.) She had had it previously and was craving another one. I had the Monte Cristo. I love them, and this one was excellent. Messy, but excellent.

This place is sort of an old motor hotel, been there for a while, looks to have a lounge with live music, looking forward to the reggae band from Florida coming up. Neat old place

Had a great experience here today. Biscuits and Gravy, hashbrowns and Monte Cristo sandwich were all delicious. My friends also had buffalo wings and chicken tender sandwich, and they loved them. It was nice to see the friendliness between the staff and customers.

I have visited the restaurant and bar on a number of occasions throughout the year and since I'm a repeat customer at the hotel next door, we get to enjoy and taste each new menu they come out with which is always as amazing as the last. The bar has entertainment on different nights of the week such as karaoke, shooting pool and listening to music and hanging out with friends with opportunities to make new friends every time I'm there. The bartenders and waitresses always have a smile on their face and great attitudes making the experience that much more enjoyable.

Breakfast was great, portions are perfect for my appetite. Server, Alisha, was prompt with coffee and the wait for my meal was short.

It's been several years since I've been to the VI, Had lunch there with friends the other day. Ordered the classic burger. And was very good. Looked like an actual hand pressed burger vs the flat pattys most restaurants have. The fries were also good, however I think they needed to be a little larger portion. Overall I would order it again. The VI has always been a classic spot in St. Helens.

The berry salad was delicious and huge, very fresh. My husband enjoyed his meatloaf. Fast service.

The waitress was friendly and my over medium eggs were cooked perfectly! All the other food we got was great too.

Guadalupe is so kind and amazing and has outstanding service!!

I had a vegetarian omelet. Very good. Nice quiet atmosphere in restaurant. Service was great.

The food and coffee and hot chocolate was delicious, the gravy was great and rhe biscuits were soft and fluffy. We cleaned our plates and we're very full. I was told I was a cheap date, the prices are very fair. Waitress was very attentive.

Was highly recommended to try this restaurant, was NOT disappointed! The food was so good, I ate way too much. Delicious breakfast ! I didn’t feel robbed by prices. I will be coming back.
