The associate that has been doing my order is the best I’ve had in the two and a half years I’ve been using this program. She should be commended and given a pay increase. She’s always working hard when I see her in the store. Please show your loyalty to your employees that change a customer’s experience. I had been going to Freddy’s because I had so many issues with this store. She is the reason I spend my $1,000 a month on groceries with y’all instead of Fred Meyer in Scappoose. Even when they are a dollar cheaper on almost everything. So it’s not really your store as it is the employees that usually make a customer’s mind up about where they want to put their money. I found a great deal on Folgers ground coffee, but it was a digital coupon. I tried to install the app on my phone but it locked up at "use Zip code/current lication".
I went to the service counter where the ladies behind the desk tried to help, but agreed it was locked up. The manager, Mr. West stepped in and said I could go through line and let the checker know. They will adjust the cost to the digital price for me. That saved me $20.00 on coffee.
Thank you Safeway for hiring people like the ladies there that night and Mr. West who was so willing to help.

I'm more than impressed by the staff at this Safeway. They're always helpful. They go that extra mile without me even asking for them to do something. For instance they didn't have anymore items on the floor and the associate is almost always said let me go check the back for you. I wish I could give them 6 stars.

A bit busy today but all is good :-). Had to stop and get our Beef for Beef night :-). Super Friendly Staff and a clean store :-). Thanks for Another Great shopping experience!!

9 pm on a Wednesday wasnt crowded at all and a pleasant in and out shopping trip. The store was looking very clean and fully stocked

I had ordered a cake for my son’s birthday. Some how the order was lost. I found that out when I went to pick up the cake. The head baker came in and within 20 minutes I had a beautiful cake and a discount…🥰🥰🥰

Just like everyday, enjoyable friendly, they are helpful, fast getting you out and in your automobile safe. And on your way. Always Clean. Even have Pickup and Delivery Service. Always on time. For people with the Oregon Trail Card food or EBT care Always helpful.. lot of space for parking and New Groceries Carts. Safeway pharmacy is a awesome place to. I recommend it. Specially in St.Helens Oregon 97051-2644 and Longview Washington area.

my cat peed on my bed. I had gone to several places to buy a roll of quarters since the Laundromat change machine was broken. The checker explained they have machines, so no rolls of quarters. Sammy at the UScan went over to Western Union and made my day by getting me a roll of quarters. (They also had cheapest gallon of vinegar for cleaning the cat pee.) There's nothing like small town service!! THANKS 🙏 for helping me Sammy!

I live in Albany, OR but wanted to send my nephew a birthday cake and balloons for his birthday on Christmas Eve since he was spending it alone. I decide to try Instacart at Safeway and Sarai in the Bakery Dept, and Rylee in the Floral Dept, helped me get it done. Everyone at the store was friendly & helpful even during the busy holidays! Rylee & Sarai, along with their Managers provided great customer service and went above and beyond to help me get my mission accomplished. Happy Holidays to a great group of employees! THANK YOU!

Long time Safeway fan this is a nice store with new floral counter and floors on the way. I mainly do grocery pick up and it works great. I rarely forget things and don't get sidetracked into unplanned purchases. Nice staff.

Very impressed with this store,deli is beg and food is always fresh. This is 1of 2 grocery stores in saint Helens so it get quite busy at times. The staff is super friendly and helpful, my gf dropped a container of salsa and the cleaned it up quickly and didn't even ask us to pay for it.

I'm a single mama of three. When I was short for my groceries, an angel disguised in a cashier's uniform pulled out her own debit card and covered the difference. I sobbed grateful tears in that parking lot for I'm not sure how long. Safeway, you've hired some pretty remarkable people.

This place is very clean, and the workers there are extremely nice. One time I went and i specifically went for crab. When i arrived the seafood station was closed! So i went up to the gentleman cleaning up and he was kind enough to clean and wrap one last crab! It was amazing and meaty.

Not the fastest in and out but it is the main store in town and it's becoming to small for our growing city.

I absolutely love this store. The staff is great. A majority have worked there for many years so it's like family. If you need something they are right there to help. I haven't ever had a bad experience there.

Best in store bakery I've found. Friendly staff is always ready to help.
