Tom's Urban - Ilani Casino

The food is excellent and the staff is extremely friendly! I had the Nashville hot chicken strips and they were delicious! I would definitely recommend this place and will be back again!

Who knew losing your money gambling could build up such an appetite! Unfortunately, we learned this while celebrating our 30th anniversary at the Ilani casino! 😂 I’m not usually one for sports bars. I don’t drink and I fall asleep watching most sports! But, I didn’t want something too heavy, and after looking at all the culinary choices offered (there’s a lot of choices!) we decided on Tom’s Urban. Their menu offers a good variety for differing appetites. Burgers, wings, sandwiches, salads and even a cheesecake if you want something sweet. I partook in the Rotisserie Chicken Salad and my husband chose the Prime Rib Dip.
The salad was chock full of fresh greens, creamy goat cheese, sweet tomatoes, avocado, almonds and the tastiest brioche croutons the size of Texas! Well, maybe Paris since brioche is French. They weren’t hard and crunchy; more of a soft and toasted texture that really paired well with the goat cheese. Very good.
My husband’s review of the Rime Rib Dip was basically, “I don’t want this sandwich to ever stop”! He even gave me a look of consternation when I snagged a stray piece of beef that dropped from the sandwich to his plate. Usually a man fine with indulging my desire to taste test everything, I knew I had over stepped that privilege when he glared at me and said, “I can’t believe you did that. I was saving that for later!” After being properly chastened and apologizing, I hastened to remind him that it WAS our 30th Anniversary, so that alone should have at least entitled me to some grace for my actions. It was a precarious moment, indeed, and a testimony to how much he enjoyed the sandwich! Wannabe taste testers beware!
The waiter was engaging, witty and attentive to our needs. Excellent service. The restaurant was clean minus straw papers that needed to be swept up. It was a bit loud with all the TV’s blaring, music being played and loud men yelling at the games they were watching…but, it’s a sports bar, so duh! This is not the place to go if you want an intimate, subdued meal. But perfectly fine if you know what you’re walking into.
Needless to say, if you find yourself experiencing hunger pangs after losing your shirt at Ilani, Tom’s Urban is a tasty and vibrant place to satiate your wounded soul…but not necessarily your wounded bank account!

I cannot rave enough about Tom's Urban, their staff, service, and food! We have been there several times in the last few years when we go to the casino.... but this time we hosted my mother in laws surprise 60th birthday party and it was top notch!!!! We had 30 people attending, and Nicole, the manager made the process smooth and seamless! She was quick to respond to requests, and incredibly friendly and welcoming! Our servers were Destiny and Shaydon and I was completely impressed by their ability to ensure everyone had a drink in their hand the whole time and keep everything straight despite everyone moving seats and being up and moving around! They were so friendly, and the guests who were at the party raved about their service even into the next day. The bar staff kept them flowing so there was no wait time, and the kitchen ensured the food came out hot and ready which is a feat when you have that many people! Everything was incredible, and the whole night just went better than I could have imagined! I would 15/10 recommend hosting a party here if you have the chance- there's no doubt we will come back again for another event if we have the opportunity to!

Always start with fried pickles! And then I got the prime rib French dip which was delicious! My bourbon Peach smash was chef's kiss! The cornbread pancakes topped with chicken are actually really good!

We came here for a Day date for our anniversary. The staff was awesome and attentive. The food was mouth watering good. We had the fried chicken and cornbread pancake and The prime rib dip for our main dish. Both were top notch. The fried pickles were good, not too sour. The loaded tots were fantastic. The Mac and cheese was ok. The staff gave us ice cream for a surprise for our anniversary. I had the party starter for a drink. Hibiscus Rita and red bull. Absolutely perfect drink. I'm definitely coming back.

Our first time here. We started with spinach and artichoke dip and fried pickles, my wife had deep dish nachos with braised beef short ribs. I had the signature Toms Prime rib dip. I had a Stella Artois on draft and she had a Blue Moon voodoo ranger IPA. We were very happy with everything. Service was good even though they were very young.
We'll be back sometime to see if it's still good.

I had to try Tom’s Famous Prime Rib Dip and I wasn’t disappointed!! It may have been the best sandwich that I’ve ever eaten! My server, Destiny, was very personable and made my dining experience memorable!!! I will be back!!!

Great place in the Ilani Casino! They have a t.v. on any game you want to watch. The food is delicious. The omelettes are 4-egg omelettes so they're filling. The 3 Little Pigs and Veggie omelettes are especially tasty. The French toast is flavorful. The Eggs Benedict are nice as well. If you like cheese, the cheesy hash browns are good.

First time coming in i was greeted by Bianca. She was personable and greeted me in a way to feel welcomed. I know she was just doing her job, but having a great staff member like her is what makes a business run smoothly and good for client and staff interactions.
Coming from the food industry myself, the greeters/hostess/ and servers can impact immensely on the decision if a customer will return.(or not)

The drinks were great, as so as the food and atmosphere.. So if you come in, look for her and that pretty smile!

Madison is the best bartender on the planet. She always remembers what I ordered (even if it’s been months in-between visits). I’m building a small shrine in my house to honor her awesomeness! Seriously amazing woman!

12/24/20: 4.50 out of 5 - Came here for breakfast. Has an easy breakfast menu. Food was tasty, and plentiful.

The staff was friendly and very accommodating for a morning crew serving breakfast.

Tom's Urban was clean quite clean and followed the necessary protocols for COVID-19.

Worth checking if you're in the area.

The food was better than what I would have thought, but the service there was non-intrusive and, yet attentive. I do appreciate the great level of service and food that Tom Urban provided.

Definitely recommend trying it once, and deciding for yourself.

Stopped in for breakfast and I was not disappointed!
Had their house special Salted Caramel French toast with caramel drizzle.
I barely needed any syrup as it was perfectly sweet as it was.
Coffee was delicious, atmosphere great and wait staff were super nice and personable.

Food was excellent! It was 11:30 at night and the food was hot and delicious. The prime rib and Mac and cheese far exceeded our expectations. Definitely worth the money. Ate every bite.

Tom’s Urban’s is always our go to place to eat when we’re at Ilani. The staff is great, the food is always delicious and, the atmosphere is perfect.
Madison is amazing! The best bartender/Server we’ve had. She is super friendly, very personable and so sweet! She’s always making it a fun time! We highly recommend Tom’s Urban’s to all our friends and family.

We’ve also had Marissa as our bartender/server a few time too and she is just as wonderful!🙂

THIS PLACE IS MY HOME AWAY FROM HOME! I HAVE BROUGHT ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY HERE THE OWNER GUS IS AWESOME AND THE PLACE IS JUST FUN AND WELCOMING. I LOVE TO HAVE A FEW DRINKS AND A MEAL WHILE WAITING ON MY SPORTS BETS! BUT I MUST BE HONEST WHEN I SAY MADI AND SATARI HAVE SHOWED ME THE KIND OF SERVICE THAT KEEPS ME COMING BACK AND FEELING LIKE FAMILY. I HOPE THEY STAY HERE FOREVER FOR MY OWN SELFISH BAR NEEDS LOL p.s. i recommend either changing the menu periodically or adding a alfredo pasta of some sort i really do come here enough to where ive ate everything on the menu lol

Randomly came in on a Thursday night. Order the prime rib, French dip from Tex. Wow!! One of the best French dips I’ve ever had. Service was impeccable, and the drinks were wonderful. He recommended the sandwich and I took him up on it. Glad I did, thanks Toms Urban I’ll be back.

I love the $20 chicken nachos. They could feed anywhere between 2-4 people. We have been a few times though and sometimes the chicken is mire dry and sometimes more wet. They nachos are always delicious though. There cheese is so good. Sometimes the bottom chips are plain also. We had s’mores brownie cookie dessert thing and I liked the cookie side but not the brownie side. It tasted like brownie brittle almost on the brownie side.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. The server named Cory is absolutely amazing! I have had him as my server a couple times and let me tell you he is next level customer service! He is very attentive and knows what he is doing, super friendly and gets the drinks and apps out so fast. I love the casino but between Cory and the amazing drinks and food at Tom Urban it’s worth the drive from Salem Oregon. I have 2 casinos WAY closer to me but I prefer to drive further to get great food and great customer service! Cory you are a Rockstar!

Oh and Order the Nachos!!!……Soooo good!!!

We had a great visit! My parents gave the prime rib two thumbs up! I absolutely love the Nashville chicken! Brittany was a fabulous server. Abby was very attentive as a manager and made sure all our needs were accommodated! We were seated very quickly by host Rex (what a sweet, cute young man). Brittany was an incredible server and Madison, the bartender, even stopped by to see how we enjoyed the drinks! What an all around great experience!!

UFC fight night was a plus with my babe it was my birthday weekend and we got hungry late in the evening and Tom's Urban amd I had the prime rib dip and queso tots 🙃 Yummm Jerry had the Nashville Hot chicken and a 5 dollar shot we had an amazing time and went back the next night thank you service staff and the extremely sweet hostess!
