We love camping at Paradise point, they have a full disc golf course and there are plenty of hiking trails. Every time we have stayed in one of their yurts it's always so cozy and comfortable. The staff is always nice to the respectful campers who obey the rules, they're even nice if you don't obey the rules but you don't get away with it I really like that. They have multiple areas with showers and bathrooms provided Great place to swim and fish would highly recommend staying here.

Campground is small but nice. Traffic noise isn't the road. Anyone complaining about it obviously is from the country or has ears like a bat. Someone even said they had to yell to talk over the traffic, that's not true at all. The traffic isn't that loud. I came in the off season which has a lot of sketchy looking campers but that's normal for campsites in the off season. I bet this place is amazing in the summer. Tent spots are anywhere from small to spacious. Most have a nice grassy spot for a tent. The other half is currently closed but looks nice but is even more compact. Can't wait until it opens up so I can grab one of the primitive spots. I'll definitely come back. Also it's really easy to get to which is a huge plus. I stayed in the yurt this time and what a great cozy little place to spend a couple nights. Better than most motels I've stayed at. The mattresses are hard so bring a mattress pad if you got one or inflatable mattress. It's nice having a campground in the city because you got hook ups for water and power at multiple sites and the restrooms are real restrooms. Showers are free for campers and water hookups are potable water, in fact the water towers are next to the park. Very short walk to the river, about a half mile. I just wish the sites weren't as close to each other but the cramped size is the only negative I can think of.

Was really surprised with how beautiful the trail is. Gorgeous view of the river and even a little waterfall in the woods. 10/10 and I will definitely return. Fairly easy trail, great for families, however trail is a little overgrown at points.

A great place to camp with outdoor water sports. Covered in trees with a beach and slow moving river.

Paradise point is my favorite! We go multiple times a summer! The sand is so soft and fluffy! The water is shallow for a way so it’s safe for the kids and not very fast flowing. The bridge above is so loud but I love it because it provides shade. It requires a discovery pass.

Pretty scenery located under an old highway bridge. Green and lush. Well kept and a quiet place to eat a snack , take a walk or sit back and read

Trails slippery and a bit muddy when wet. Freeway noise is prevalent throughout the most of the park. Waterfall was a nice surprise to run into. $10 day use or discovery pass required. There are some free days for state park though like New Years Day.

I spent the morning and afternoon here on a hot August day and had a great time! I went with a small group of dads and kids with ages ranging from 3 to 8. We hiked the 2 mile loop along the river, which was very kid-friendly, but never found the waterfall that was on the map. Water level might have been too low. The trails could also use better signage at the forks because we never did complete the loop; instead we cheated and took the road back to the day use area. The main swimming hole got pretty busy in the afternoon and it’s a bit weird that it’s under the I-5 overpass so we floated upstream and found a pretty secluded spot with a 15-20 foot cliff and a rope swing, which was really cool and pretty safe, since the water was really deep underneath the rope swing. Couldn’t touch.

My family and I went here to do some kayaking and SUP. While it has a bit of a muddy launch area it is still easier to launch from than some other places I’ve been to. We had a blast!

While there are some picnic tables in the day use area I wouldn’t plan on staying there long because the highway noise was pretty loud. This wasn’t a problem for us because we had packed some sandwiches that we quickly ate right before kayaking.

Once you get away from the highway it is a peaceful river with a shallow area perfect for learning how to SUP. Highly recommended!

If you don't mind the noise from the freeway overpass, it's a great place to visit. Close by to Battle Ground, Washington. I really had a good time here. There is a fantastic 9 hole Disc course here as well. I would definitely visit again.

This is a great place little to spend the day. It’s about a 30 minute drive from Portland. It cost $10 for day use, and you can pay there or use your Discover Pass. There are campsites, day-use picnic benches and a couple of areas where you can access the water. Great for kayaking. There is a 2 mile loop trail that’s very nice and allows you to walk along the water. The trail is muddy and often not super well maintained.

Dogs are welcome on leash.

Pulled off the road to eat a quick lunch on the way home from Portland. Ended up spending the rest of the day here floating around in the water. What a nice surprise little hideaway

great little stream to take the kids, maybe play some of the disc golf or BBQ. also has about 2miles of semi-rough trails. Finnegan approved!

Great spot. Our spot was big, semi-private and close to bathroom. Rv spots weren't overpacked in too close to one another. Shower was a nice plus! Stayed here for a concert at RV Inn amphitheater and would definitely do it again.

Nice, clean, quiet for a day visit. It was chilly and threatening to rain so we had the park nearly to ourselves. It's right next to and partly under I-5 so you can expect traffic noise, but the air was clean and fresh. There is a small frisby golf course set up here. It's also right next to the Lewis River, which was cold and had some steep banks. Maybe not a good place to bring children unless you can tend them constantly. More a fishing spot than a beach to splash in.
Update - having now camped in the campground that is part of the park, I can confirm you hear the highway all night. By the second night though we barely noticed it. The camp sites are lovely and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's a hidden gem of a park! Not for all, but we like it.

Nice place, has restrooms and showers, I recommend taking dry clothes in a plastic bag that can sinch closed as the spray from shower was strong and got everything dry wet. And it has one temp and got stifling hot & muggy. Had to open the door to let out steam. Cost was reasonable. Was quite except for I5 traffic.

Camping here. It's beautiful. Been here before but first time in an electric spot and very lucky to have found a spot ❤. The price isn't too bad and the showers are complimentary.

Third time staying here, first time in the yurts. Great place to stay while tent camping or in the yurts. Had a few bad campers who had destroyed the bathrooms this time but usually clean facilities. They have recently added a disc golf course by the river and there is a new casino going up on the otherside of I-5. Only an hour outside of Portland and much better prices if you're ever forced to go to that weird city.
