My regular dentist referred me to Dr. Baumgarth for a complicated root canal. I was given the cost ahead of time and they were able to get me in right away.

I have a dental trauma history so was nervous about having the procedure, and told Dr. Baumgarth about my concerns. He listened to me, and was kind, gentle, and soft-spoken. He told me what he was doing as he did it, which helped a lot. The root canal lasted just over an hour and a half, and all along Dr Baumgarth made sure I was comfortable and doing okay.

Amber, the receptionist, was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient, which I also appreciated.

Root canals aren't fun, but Dr Baumgarth really did make this as easy as possible for me, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back to him if I ever need to. Thank you!

Excellent experience. I was referred by a very trusted dentist for a challenging root canal. The office let me know the cost of the consultation before I arrived, and I left with a printed invoice for the upcoming procedure,. The root canal was totally painless, and the doctor was quick and thorough. He explained the process and showed me x-rays following the appointment. He shared this all with my dental office. I would have any future dental work beyond cleanings/cavities completed at this office.

Let me begin by saying I am an experienced cosmetic and restorative dentist in West Linn. Dr. Baumgarth isn't aware of me writing this review but knowing what type of clinician he is I felt it was imperative to provide a rating commensurate with his skill. He runs a very good business, is an excellent clinician, and his interpersonal skills are fantastic. I've referred hundreds of my patients to him for care and have received excellent feedback reporting comfortable, efficient care from every single one. I also have the opportunity to observe his clinical success over months and years and I can attest that his short-term and long-term results are the best I've seen. If you are seeking care, or if you're a dentist looking for an endodontist to refer to I offer the highest recommendation for Dr. Baumgarth.

Dr. Baumgarth is an excellent endodontist! He seems very skilled at solving problems that even my own dentist thought would have to have a more drastic solution. He carefully explains each step he’s taking. I his nurse and office staff are friendly and courteous.

Dr. Baumgarth is amazing and talented in his specialty. His assistant, Amy, is kind and caring. Both made sure I was comfortable and knew what was happening every step of a complicated procedure. Highly recommended.

I had a root canal issue with a Crown - went bad after several years. Mt. Scott did not do the original work. He (Matt) did go in and fix the issue - got infected somehow (per the good Dr. Matt...probably micro-fractures within the dead root).
It was not an easy fix because he was accessing it through my jawbone rather than take a chance with messing up the Crown. He certainly knows what he's doing. Great experience considering the unpleasant physical nature of what had to be performed to fix my tooth. Highly recommend this office for any and all root canals and/or repairs.

Recently I, and my wife over the past several years, have had several root canals performed by Dr. Matthew Baumgarth. Without exception each procedure done by Dr. Baumgarth was professionally and successfully completed much to our delight. At all times, we were seen swiftly in regard to the level of pain we were experiencing at the time and every effort was made by Dr. Baumgarth and staff to put us at ease with every aspect of the entire procedure. I was very uncomfortable, having trouble eating and drinking. The doctor was able to see me right away for a root canal. The doctor and his staff were very professional and explained everything to me, step by step. I was pain free at the end of the procedure. I highly recommend this office

Just got a failed root canal redone. The experience was as great (as great as a root canal can be anyway). Professional, clean, and VERY gentle. The root canal was on the most difficult tooth in the mouth to work on, but Dr. Baumgarth pulled it off with aplomb.

Very professionally done from start to finish, and the icing on the cake was a significantly lower charge than I had been quoted.

These people only care about your money. My daughter needed a root canal and they estimated how much our portion would be. I understand it is an estimate, and might change somewhat. They then do the procedure and we get a bill for a huge difference. We are trying to figure it out, talking to them to keep them informed also, and we find out that my daughters insurance had reached its maximum. Which, if they had called like they were supposed to do, they would have known and should have told us. This all took a little time, and during the meantime they send an invoice with literally a past due sticker on both sides of the envelope, and on every page of the invoice inside. They then called a few days later to demand payment. It had already been set up through billpay, but they just want to bully people. This should have been in the notes, but again, they just want there money. Go someplace where they do the job right and treat you with respect.
