Johnson County Public Library - Clark Pleasant Branch

This library is absolutely amazing. All the Johnson County libraries are fantastic. They are community centers dedicated to the public. Our local cal tax dollars are being used well by upgrading and improving our libraries. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable.

We love this library! I have been bringing my infant here weekly since he was about 4 months old and it never disappoints. It is always clean, the children's area is glorious with so many toys and costumes. The staff is super friendly. There are tons of meet ups and events. Check it out!

I really enjoyed my 1st visit to this beautiful new library! I even tried to check out a book that still needed it's RF tag to scan (Plank Fitness). The Staff were helpful, and great at offering assistance!

We love the Johnson county libraries! The New Whiteland one is just beautiful. Staff is cleaning constantly (it is brand new). The kids play area at this time has fun dress up, kitchen toys, and plenty of things to keep littles busy.

Brand new library, so of course this is the nicest one in the county. Bathrooms are all singular rooms with a changing table (every bathroom is a "family" type bathroom instead of the stall type); much nicer and appropriate too, since most of the events at libraries seem to target children and families. The children's area has a lot of interactive toys to play with, and the weekly story time events are great opportunities for moms to make some friends and meet other moms (it's hard finding play dates for little children, especially when they're not school aged yet!). They have a lot of rooms that are for their events... but I don't think their book collection is actually that big though. I mean, I don't know --- I'm comparing this to the local branch in my hometown of Queens, NYC. The library on Main St, in Flushing is multi stories and looks like a business corporation with its architectural design. I do like that small towns always have a parking lot for just about every business or organization. It's a very nice library.

Amazing place. Went for the first time today and my son had a blast. We both got our library cards. Nice and clean. Very friendly staff. Wonderful children's area for them to play.

It’s good to know you can go there to fax paperwork at no charge.

Lived in white land for years and always went to this library. Clean nice place to go. They have a lot to offer.

Great community place. All the area JCPLs offer a ton of activities for every age, and a lot of intercultural options, too!
