I love the bookstore at Chemeketa. You don't have to be a student to buy from them either. The first 2 weeks of every term they always put all the art supplies on sale for 30% off. I'm a bit of a crafter so I always take advantage of this sale.

Good service try to get your books at least a week before the term starts to avoid the lines.
