Franciscan Health Indianapolis

I had 2 surgeries done at Franciscan. The nurses and care team was great from the time I walked in the door. All of the nursing and support staff were so kind and caring. Not one bad one the entire time. I drive over an hour in what I hoped would be even average care. What I received exceeded my expectations. It was so nice to have my faith restored in the medical care available to me in this area. I will drive again to Franciscan for any services.

I cant say enough good things about my experience . Everyone was so nice and helpful. Nurses went way and beyond with my care before and after surgery. Dr Suozzi is a excellent surgeon. Explains everything so his patients understands. The people as u walk in the door are very helpful in finding where u need to go. I would definitely refer my family and friends to consider using this hospital and their doctors.

On 12/13/2023, I spent 2 nights in ICU/1 night in a Regular Room…following Open Heart Surgery for an Ascending Aortic Aneurysm. Dr. Gerdisch gave me my life back and I had excellent care by every individual I came in contact with at Franciscan Health Hospital.(South)

Although it’s impossible to remember everyone’s names…I will remember their kindness and compassion.

Two Nurses worked tirelessly to help get me back on my feet and out of the hospital earlier than the intended stay length of time. I was on a mission and they believed I could do it…Noel and Cory… I appreciate you more than you will ever know.

I delivered my first baby boy at St Francis women and children on July 12. Being my first baby, I was so nervous for the entire experience. I had Dr Randolph as my OB from Southside OBGYN and am totally impressed with her and would highly recommend her. When I got admitted for delivery, everyone was fantastic that we dealt with. Dr Randolph was thankfully on call, so we had her checking on me. We then had Kayla as our nurse and she was absolutely amazing!!! She did about 90% of the entire laboring portion and I cannot say enough nice things about her. She made the entire experience awesome. Dr Randolph’s shift ended a few hours before I delivered and she took the time to come in and tell me bye and who I would have deliver our baby. We had Dr Dunlap who in the few hours we had him, we were so impressed and thankful. Every first time mom is nervous for their first birth and I can honestly say that this birth was an amazing experience all because of Dr Randolph, Kayla and Dr Dunlap. We are also thankful to God for a safe delivery of our sweet boy. I would highly recommend these doctors and nurses! Thank you so much!

My emergency room experience has always been good. I was having trouble breathing when I got there November 2021. Eventually I ended up moving to a room and stayed 3 days. The findings of my breathing was found to be blood clots in my lung. Of all the times I have had to go to the emergency room, and there has been a few. I have Never had a problem with the nurses, doctors or other staff. I have been yelled at for not following the nurses orders, but that was my fault! I know how frustrating it is to not have things go the way you think they should. I do know Holidays are not a good time to be there, but that was when the hospital was located in Beech Grove. A big Thank you to all of St. Francis Hospital staff. Merry Christmas too!💕

My husband was admitted to the hospital with a serious case of pneumonia. I can't say enough about how kind and helpful everyone was during his time there. From housekeeping to food service, to aids, nurses, and doctors he couldn't have had better care. Thank you Franciscan staff.

Dr. Lane, Dr. Falk, and everyone on each of their staff and the hospital staff have been an absolute BLESSING!

At a different hospital, I had a terrible experience. But, when I sought out a second opinion from Dr. Lane at St. Francis, it was so different that I changed hospital networks to work with a group who heard me when I spoke, cared when I needed them to, and learned when my complicating allergy was new for them!

I will continue my care and work with them for years to come!

Amazing hospital and staff, I had all 3 of my daughters here 2010, 2011, & 2012. I was well taken care of. Not to mention the hospital food is not ordinary hospital food, tastes like homemade food. You even get a menu. I was treated very well! I now live 2 hours away but still come here for my 3 daughter's & myself for appointments and emergency care. I was gonna switch to be closer but, I've been to three other hospitals and none of em compares to them. I'm not treated like a drug addict looking to get high. They actually do testing to verify necessary needs for you. I love this hospital other places treat you like you just another addict. Its actually quite sad hospitals have to be this way with their patients. I recommend St. Francis.

I had to go twice last month due to mystery nausea and vomiting. Both stays I stayed for approx 5 days. Loved my nursing team. Ones I can specifically remember were Rebecca, Deja and of course my favorite, Chris. I was so sick but they were so nice and made sure I was comfortable and everyone I had, even nurses I didn’t name were excellent. Those Tower 3 nurses are awesome! All the blood draw ladies were so sweet, too. I’m glad that if I could’ve stayed anywhere, I was there. Thank you all for taking such great care of me

As a delivery person I learned today that entrance 12 is the Main entrance. Staff was super nice helping me with my drop off.

I have had many major surgeries and treatments form the Doctors and their staff along with great care from the nurses that watched over me while recovering in St Francis Hospital. Althgough all things don't always go smoothly at times, the Doctors, Nurses, all supporting staff go well beyond the call of duty they have undertaken to help and restore all of us in need.
I have read the disappointing and praising reviews which confirm my experiences there. THANK YOU ALL

My dad went in around 10am sunday morning with chest pain. The nurses and doctors were amazing. My dad ended up going to the south campus via ambulance because he needed surgery for his heart. He had a balloon put in and will be scheduled for a triple bypass un the next few days. Everyone at mooresville was on top of his care and saved his life!! Thank you to the mooresville er staff Sunday November 13th am shift ❤❤❤

I had a heart attack last week, and these completely professional heroes SAVED MY LIFE. Best hospital I have EVER had to go to, and I have been all over this planet.
Any negative reviews have to be coming from unruly people.

I had my daughter here. It was the first time I've ever really been to St Francis I usually go to community. There were some unfortunate experiences but that's true anywhere. The nurses however where amazing. They left a lasting impact on me they were that good. They made sure I was cared for anything I needed. They were nice and pleasant. I had issues through my pregnancy to so I was there multiple times and not once had a bad nurse. That is what I remember most about my time spent there!

Doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers were amazing. Everyone was kind and knowledgeable. My husband was there for open heart surgery. We couldn't be any more satisfied with our experience there. Would definitely recommend.

I had an appointment in the cancer department. I found everybody working to be very polite, and professional. I had a mammogram performed and was very nervous. The nurse was very sympathetic and very considerate. I was given my results immediately following the test, so I didn't have to wait around wondering what the outcome would be. My appointment was at 8 a.m. and I was back on the road by 8:45 a.m. All in all, it was a great experience and would most certainly return. Thanks again to all the people at Franciscan Health. To all the people leaving negative reviews. Grow up. Educate yourself on how the affordable healthcare act has made it harder for doctors to do their jobs.

I gave birth here jume 12, 2020 during a pandemic. I wanted to write a thank you message more than just a review. I am very happy with the care I received here. I absolutely have the best doctor (Dr. Tienne Randolph) she is amazing. Nurse Erin was the one whom provided me with my hospital tour a few months back and still managed to call me a few times to keep in touch. She has a beautiful soul and speaking with her it’s as if you personally know her with the amount of care she has. After having my daughter I stayed with the Fransician family and my daughter see Dr. Savanna Bruski whom I met in the hospital and she is also amazing and welcoming.

My ONLY complaint would be every time I received my food orders they were all cold and it takes about an hour after you order to get it to you. So order your food early. I did LOVE the smoothies, so good.

There was also a nurse in the delivery room (Jenny I believe) whom asked me if I was married to my daughters father whom was there and if he is the father to my other kids. I don’t understand why this question was even relevant while I’m in labor pains. Clearly I am married as we share the same last name and my status is married, why you needed to know if my husband is the father to my other kids was just too personal, why does that matter..

I don't leave many reviews for hospitals, but I visited St. Francis the other day when they were unable to draw blood at my doctor's office. I have weird, deep veins. The lady working at the Outpatient Lab is VERY nice and funny. She was super welcoming and, to be honest, I have never had this pleasant of an experience at a hospital before. I hate having my blood drawn, but she assure that Kevin could do it. Unfortunately, Kevin had some trouble getting it out of my arm. He chose to go through my tiny little veins on my hand BUT he was very VERY good at getting the needle in and out. No pain or bruising. I did have to wait for a little while, as they were busy. It was definitely worth it.
