Drew's Boots Reviews

I noticed that Baker's has some bad reviews on google maps, so, for all of the people reading (and for the people at Baker's) I thought I'd add my two cents.

I went to Baker's Boots in April this year. I was not planning on buying any boots at the time, just wanted to take a look around and see what they had, either that or maybe I would try on some White's to get my sizing. I went and tried on the Drew's loggers and was super impressed with the boots. I had heard about them a couple times before around Reddit and YouTube. I decided to buy the boots, which were factory seconds, at $249.59 - an insanely good deal for PNW boots - and had them shipped back to my house.

My particular pair of boots was a test model, so it originally had all eyelets and no speedhooks. Baker's installed speedhooks, but when they were sent to me, some of them were loose. I had to take them to a local cobbler to install new ones, which worked. However, on one boot, the heel hadn't been nailed down! After tromping around a cemetery doing surveying work, I noticed that the heel was starting to come off, which then lead to me discovering that it had no nails. I wrote to Baker's immediately, who offered to fix the issue for me. I just received the boots about a week ago.

Baker's completely fixed the boots for me. All of the speedhooks were set back to normal and tightened, the heel was re-nailed, and they even re-dyed the soles for me. Wow. I was super impressed.

The customer service from Baker's is maybe some of the best I have ever seen for any company. To the people at Baker's: keep doing what you're doing. When the time comes to get my next pair of Pacific Northwest Boots - which I'm sure won't be long, since I am a forestry student - I will be buying from you guys. Your boots are just as well built as a ton of the other brands and I really appreciate the extra toe box room from the modified 55 last.

To all of the people considering buying: Do it. If you have a problem, chances are that Baker's can solve it. They have a selection of amazing boots and the in-house options from Drew's Boots, whether Made in the USA or Made in Mexico are exceptional.

My boots have stood up to wetlands, blackberry patches, 4-foot tall salal, walking on logs, and a lot more. I am sure they will serve me well for years to come.

Here’s my two cents, for what it’s worth. I used to work for a boot company and loved seeing how boots were made. Fast forward a couple years and now I just wear boots instead of help build them. I got a pair of whites smokejumpers and loved them for over a year. I’m due for a resole soon and ended up with a couple pairs of the new Drew’s loggers @ $350.

The build quality on both pairs look great and rugged. The boots are solid and heavy duty, similar to the smokejumpers. I don’t see any flaws or anything with them. The fit is a bit bigger than my other boots, so I’m an 11.5D with these vs. 12EE with my whites. The fits it spot on at 11.5D and the footbed feels good. I work in a wood mill here in Oregon, so we get the winter rain and mud plus I’m working on machines while rolling around on the ground. I would 100% recommend these boots for anyone looking for a solid pair of boots.

Here’s a pic of the smokejumpers next to the brown Drew’s loggers.

Ordering boots online and not in person is always a chance, especially in different time zones. I called looking for a different brand boot but Bryson took the time to help me find one in stock that matched what I was looking for initially. I ordered Drew’s in house made Buckaroo Boot in a chocolate with blue tops. Placed the order on Monday and by Thursday got delivered my first hand made boot. Out of the box they fit like my favorite pair. The quality and care placed into these boots is amazing! Thanks for the help in this post-deployment gift to myself!

I recently heard of Drew's from a friend of mine who worked on a hotshot crew in his 20s. I have a couple boots from a competitor but they didn't fit right. I finally hopped on Drew's website and found a set of boots that I received a month ago. In order to make sure I was buying the right size, I made a phone call. Kyle Baker answered all my questions and made me feel confident in my choice.

After a month of daily wear of the Cascade work packer I can say they are easily the best boots I've worn. I'm so happy with them that I recently ordered a pair of their lace to toe roughout boots.

Consider me an east coast Drew's/Baker customer for life.

Thanks Drew's for making such great boots backed by amazing customer service!

Michelle with their customer service literally spent all day emailing me to make sure I got the proper size boot as their lasts are a little bigger than normal. Can’t say enough about how helpful and easy it was. Ordered me a pair of their 8” logger rough out, can’t wait to get ‘em dirty!

I had to order a pair of wildland boots and really liked one of the styles they sold. After sending in my tracings and measurements, I spoke with a fitting expert over the phone, who got my boots in the mail the same day. I don't know a lot about boot-making, but I'm still impressed with the quality.

I ordered the anderson bean big bass rusty crush boots. First of all I love the boots they are so different from what everyone else has. AND being Anderson Bean you know the name. Drew's boots not only were the only people who had the boots in stock but I told them I was going on a trip and they had then at my house the very next day from ordering them. They're in Oregon and I live in Texas. I highly recommend Drew's boots 👢 👌

nothing but good to say about these folk. Yep, it took a while to get my boots but the wait was worth it and I just figured that being busy was a statement about them and the quality of their work.
