Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

The Summer Berry Cake Cupfection is delicious! I had no idea what it was but the gentleman explained it perfectly. It's vanilla cake, mixed summer berries, vanilla ice cream, chocolate shavings and whipped cream. What's not to love? The cake inside even has frosting!

Very fast service. My order was correct and staff was very nice.

Drive through was super busy tonight so I ordered inside. The staff were very organized and the food was going out fast. The restaurant was clean and the young man who served me was so polite and attentive, he even offered to open the door for me…it’s those little things that make a difference. The food was also excellent!

Best experience ever! Went through the drive through and had excellent and professional customer service with Emily. Additionally, the food was accurate, hot, and fresh. Got ice cream to that was perfectly made with lots of toppings :) management had a good hold on things. 11/10 experience and will be back because of it!

Drive-thru on 7/22 around 11am. I really enjoyed the young man taking orders. He sounded very happy and energetic. He was thorough and covered everything with my order. He just made my day. I hope management sees this or he sees this. Kudos!

Great ice-cream and great service. They were slammed when we stopped by, but they handled 20+ cars quickly with smiles on their faces.

Shout out to Sarah. Seemed like she may have been new but I could see she was trying her best to keep up. I hope she is able to stay there and adjust as she seemed like a very pleasant person. 😊

EDIT: Once new management took over, this placed turned completely around. The best customer service, everything fresh, and correct orders received. I no longer live in the area, but saw that my past review needed to be changed because they no longer deserve that. Keep up the good work!!

I have never left a Google review but I feel I had to say something. This is the worst DQ I've ever been to. This is the worse restaurant of any kind that I have ever been to. My husband and I have lived in the area for years and only had a few good experiences here. We opt to travel farther to Waterloo DQ because of the horrible experiences here. But every now and then we decide to give Columbia DQ a chance and are mad at ourselves every single time. There needs to be a mature adult there. Tons of horsing around every time. I watched them play with ice cream and throw out 4 ice cream cones from it, and kick around cones on the floor. The employees are horrible at talking to customers! If they get something wrong and you let them know - the attitude you get!! Our order is always wrong!! Don't get me started in the wait. Today we waited 20 minutes! It's basically ran by high schoolers who don't know or understand customer service, let alone respect! They need guidance and training especially since they're our future! I can't imagine having to work here!! This has been going on for years, don't know how they're still in business. Go to Waterloo. Or Marie's. Or Happy Days.

This is the one you want to go to. The owners keep a great standard. The staff are always friendly, and have a smile. Wish no masks anymore, you can see them again! :)

I haven’t gone through the drive thru much, but the last time I was, it was quick!

Fast and polite service! Had nice things written on our box “Have a great day” and “Smile today!” Food was fresh and hot! Worth the drive over from Missouri to get this type of service.

Fast and efficient! We got through the long drive thru line fairly quickly. Love the new landscaping. Staff was friendly. Didn't see a dirty floor like I have with the previous owner.

Always good food. However, they seem to be pricing themselves out of the ice cream business. Not just this DQ, all the DQs in the surrounding are the same. Makes it easier to avoid.

Food is and 8 but they get my order right every time! That makes them a 10.. Fast and friendly. Love this place..

I brought an issue to the attention of the GM, Ashley, and she was patient and professional and came to a reasonable solution.

The new owner and management have completely turned this establishment around. Great customer service. Food Quality was fresh . Clean and well organized. To top it off they have cherry dip cones back!

I love Dairy Queen Dairy Queen is one of the Hallmarks of this nation they were there in my youth when I grow up in the 60s and 70s still around and I'm so thankful for that cuz it's a touch of my youth but I can regain the memories there and still experience even though I'm in my 50s. I enjoy hair products they're down home American establishment but there's no way I would ever deny not wanting to go Dairy Queen it's a part of me and I'm a part of them. You're the best.
