Amazing food and staff. The molcajete was so amazing. The charizo, the steak, the shrimp were so great best Charizo and steak I’ve ever had from a Mexican restaurant. And the birria tacos were so fire. Not overloaded with cheese like most places just the right amount of cheese but stuffed with meat couldn’t ask for a better birria taco and the birria dip was 10/10. Best Mexican food I’ve had in Salem in my opinion. And the bakery to is perfect for picking out some deserts for after your meal.. highly recommend everyone to come check this place out you won’t be disappointed

They provided food for our family reunion. Everybody loved everything! The chicken was the star and the tres leches cake was as beautiful as it was delicious. They gave us plenty of sides and condiments. When circumstances caused a change in the amount of food we needed, they were very kind and accommodating. This was a wonderful experience.

We used ranchero for our wedding reception catering and they did an amazing job. Everybody loved the food and they got everyone served in a very fast manner. The whole time leading up to the event the owner was very quick to respond and to accommodate what we needed.

First time here. The food was fantastic and would highly recommend coming. Was interesting to find the other half of the restaurant was a bakery, deli, meat market. But our server was very attentive and friendly. Will be back to try other menu items.

Come hungry! The food is delicious and great portion sizes. The molcajete was absolutely delicious! It was enough food for at least two very hungry people. I'm definitely coming here again.

I had ZERO idea the market had become an After Hours spot. I walked in and I noticed they had remodeled the dining area and looked so much nicer! They had a DJ playing awesome music and there was plenty of seating. They brought out an After Hours menu which had a number of drinks and food specials. I ordered these fish tacos and boy were they pretty when they came out and tasted so dang good! Three big tacos for $10...it was one of the specials. My cousin ordered drinks and they were equally as pretty and tasted really good too. Great, great presentation and taste. The service was over the top. Staff was extremely friendly and kept checking on us frequently. Even the chef came out to greet us and I complimented him on the amazing tacos. I realized they are barely starting to do this After Hours thing, but if you love reggeton, merengue, salsa and other great music along with excellent food....this is the place to hang out!

Excellent flavor and great service! Four of us went there for dinner. Tacos Birria were so tasty and the taco salad was a good, generous portion. Will go again!

Top notch food and service, I ordered carnitas tacos and soursop agua fresca. Super cute dining area next to a market with pan dulce and fresh meat! Dont skip the dessert options. Very affordably priced.

We love their special mesquite grilled chicken they have on weekends! We also really like their market. Excellent food, great prices!

Great place to stop for great Mexican food! Best part is there is also a market attached to the restaurant so you can pick up some salsa for later at home.

I would definitely recommend this place and will be back many times!

Super good food!

Went in Tuesday for their $10 all you can eat tacos and it was delicious!! The fruit Horchata was so good and the pork carnitas and chicken tacos were my favorite but all were yummy!!

Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Very fresh and delicious! This place never disappoints. The staff is super friendly and the food is consistently good.

I enjoy eating the food from here they have a good selection and it's great to diy this food. There restaurant is really good too.

I love this place, customer service has always been good and thoughtful. I haven’t bought much from here other than their fresh BBQ chicken that they make every weekend, Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. If you want some of the best tasting juicy chicken this is the place. Highly recommend buying the lunch package with their beans, rice, tortillas, and the bbq chicken. Best money ever spent on a meal. I’ll be coming back again and again. Keep up the great work! Thank you for having such a great atmosphere.

I love el ranchero! I love it more that it has an after hours with AMAZING drinks and AWESOME music that makes me dance nonstop!!! They are like family! Such an amazing spot! (And you don’t have to drive to Portland) 🤗🤗🤗🤗

We have eaten here quite a few times, their street tacos are awesome 👌 , my wife likes the taco salad, every thing we have had so far has been great! We are actually eating food from El Rancho tonight. I've already eaten 4 of the 8 tacos. Definitely one of the best in town. This is also a market, they have lots of snacks, meats, veggies, bakery, and the horchatas are really good!
