Best Black owned Beauty Supply Store in Bloomington Indiana they have a large varieties of hair,hair products and hair supplies etc…… Stop on by and give them a try. And the staffs are always welcoming and friendly.

The prices are accessible to a broke baddie on a budget, with smaller items (beads, gloss, hair packs-- which are as low as $6) ranging from $3-15 and bigger items ranging from $15 up (big braid hair rack, wigs). Hair services are also affordable and if you have questions about hair and scalp health the owner is a loctician and has favorites as well as items she knows her clients have loved. I have psoriasis and she stopped me from buying an item that would have given me a flare up and offered other options-- and bananas. She also didn't judge my busted braids lmao. 10/10

Her prices are the best, especially more realistic considering the type of hair you buy of course, I’m new to doing my own hair, and she even was sweet enough to helped me out by showing me exactly what to do, and what would be an easier process, she is such a kind hearted person, the hair and products she sales are good quality!!… I Will definitely be buying from here again!!

I love coming here! They have everything you could possibly need from hair supplies, accessories, and the best stylists in town! It’s hard to find places here in Bloomington that provide you with the right products for melanated people’s hair. But this is where you want to be! It’s black owned and the owner is a beautiful ray of sunshine. You not leaving without good service and a good conversation. Highly recommend go check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

This is a hidden gem and walking into this store is like a breathe of fresh air I didn’t even know this store existed in Bloomington but I will be coming here for everything from now on the customer service was amazing as well

This shop is very homey! Tessa is super friendly and professional! Her shop is clean and sufficient, with us Kings and Queens in mind! It has a good selection of hair and hair projects and her salon is spacious. Tessa was very knowledgeable about how she will maintain my starter locs and I'm really excited to work with her on my journey!

I love the braiding hair . It is a 75in long soft easy to handle and not too much tangle ..

It was my first time here and I will definitely be back!!! We were on the hunt for extension beads and this was the ONLY place we could find them in Bloomington. I browsed around the store and the products were definitely high quality. BIG Plus, everything was so reasonably priced! We were welcomed with a smile and tons of hospitality (unlike sallys beauty). I love this shop! The owner Tessa is great and very helpful. She was patient and kind even though I know nothing about hair.She got me together and checked out in a quick manner. And she has a wide variety of different types of hair. I would definitely recommend this shop.

Tessa is great. Her work is perfect. She is willing to work with her clients' schedules. She carries hair care products for all different styles, braids, lashes, etc. She has also expanded her inventory to include great clothes, cool purses, and awesome shoes.

Tessa and Carey were AMAZING! I got starter locs done and I have really thick hair so it took Tessa longer than expected and she never complained! Very professional shop, great vibe and my hair looks fantastic. I can’t wait for my next visit.

First time going to the beauty supply/ natural hair studio. I felt very welcomed in the environment. The pricing is very reasonable. Tessa and Carrie are both very kind people. I’m new in Bloomington Indiana. I moved here 5 months ago from Michigan. So, when I received services from Tessa, whom is the owner of the shop she was very welcoming and was happy to help me with my hair, which my hair was braided. When it comes to professionalism, character and integrity of a person. Tessa has it! When I emailed her concerning when could she do my hair? she was available. And if you were to email her she will answer in a timely manner. Tessa has a beauty store. And she sells beauty supply items as well. When she has a customer or a client she’s very professional. She didn’t complain she just did what she had to do. Please understand that she is very professional about her business. I would recommend you to her if you need your hair done. Very respectful. Until I learned of Empress A'Shauntess, it was difficult to find the products I need for my hair. They not only have a large variety but ample inventory as well.

Tessa, goes out of her way to accommodate requests, is extremely knowledgeable and has a great attitude & personality!

I went in looking for some razors and they didn’t them at the store but they were open to ordering them to have them in stock next time! I was in a bind and needed some to do a cut and the owner gave me some she happened to have! She was a real life saver. Both ladies I encountered were nice, welcoming and helpful! I give this place 👍🏼👍🏼! Walked in EVERYONE was wearing masks, they were very punctual (I didn’t have to wait for my appointment), as I walked in they wear wiping down and cleaning from previous clients, price was right, fun but professional atmosphere! I will definitely be going back For my dreadlock maintenance. They look so good and it feels amazing having them back in shape! Also, I noticed there was no clutter. Everything was in place hanging on the walls and cases. I could keep going! I am soooo happy I found this shop! Prob won’t be going anywhere else! they also do all hair types.. major plus!
