I received excellent care from Dr Fitzsimmons and his office staff. He was kind, professional and to the point.

I made an appt over a month and a half ago after it took them weeks to call me from the time my doctor sent the referral. Then the doctor's office called and rescheduled for an additional 2 more weeks later because of a a family emergency that was happening a week and a half later. I made it clear that the appt needed to be scheduled at a time they could do the biopsy at the same time. I just got a call 2 days before my appt that they would not do the biopsy, they would not reschedule to do a consult and biopsy on the same day, I HAD to come in for a consult, THEN they would get me on the schedule for a biopsy about 2 weeks later. This has now been MONTHS and I'm still no closer to getting help. My regular dermatologist didn't want to do it for fear of disfiguring me. This office doesn't seem to care that the longer we put this off the more cutting that will have to be done. Update after appt: While I still feel strongly about the front office staff and my experience with them, I saw the doctor and am very happy with him. He is expediting the biopsy to only a few day wait so I can finally get moving on solving this and keep it from getting worse. I'm VERY THANKFUL ...finally!! Just wish this could have been done weeks ago.

Dr. Fitzsimmons did not review my husband's medical records that identify metal plates and screws on the left side of his face. He denied my husband had any hardware in his face at all and then didn't hear his concerns for swelling, pain, and twitching. Seems like he did not prepare for this appointment at all.. really disappointing. I hope he takes this criticism well and puts more effort and empathy into his patient care experiences. We will not be continuing care with him.
