Aamco has been one of the best places I've had the joy of working with. Very knowledgeable and professional, and they go the extra mile to get things done. They even swept out the floor boards of my vehicle( and I didn't ask). They did a fantastic job on the brakes.

I'm trying to get this story straight...I had to have my truck towed in, told them I was in no hurry. I started wondering about 6 weeks what was going on. He said I was next up, about a month went by. I called again the truck was almost done. Friends were saying why is this taking so long. I was really wondering what was going on. Come to find out the main mechanic had walked out because of jealousy and the others followed, so he had to run the place by himself. I found out about this when I picked it up. Because of the wait he waived ALL diagnostic tests and ALL labor for putting on a new wire harness. I didn't expect anything else but told him I would deal with him if I had some future work to do, he said he would even givee a discount in the future. I didn't expect that. The guy felt bad about the whole situation, I could see where he was coming from. Stuff happens and sometimes we have to be patient. Like I said I will be going to him all the time

Our windshield wiper motor blew out as we were driving cross country. This shop was around the corner from out motel. So glad we used them Had to wait a day for the part to come in, but Keith and Michelle were professional and fair. When we had to move motels Michelle even gave me a lift back and forth from the shop in my car instead of having to call an Uber. Great service!

Best service in Indiana. We are on the road traveling back to Alabama and they saw us right away and found the problem. Friendly and professional. Recommend for everyone who is traveling to come here and see these amazing people.

Chris's knowledge and expertise saved my buying a new vehicle!! Everything one would hope for was there: skill, professionalism, low cost. As a bonus, the office exceeds the atmosphere of many doctors' offices! There was nice artwork, architectural magazines in the waiting room, BBC on the radio (rather than obnoxious game shows), and he was a delight to talk with. I will return there as necessary, and will certainly recommend it to anyone.

We were moving a truck from Philly to St Louis. The truck broke down and had a problem. They rebuilt the transmission and did a great job.

This outstanding team of professionals went above and beyond their jobs. Not only did they diagnose my transmission problems in a matter of minutes, they were reasonably priced. I had to wait for 9 hours for our recovery vehicle to come get me. These guys not only made my wait comfortable, they even helped us load the truck. Great job! Great people!

After a terrible experience at Owen Ford in Marshall, IL, I talked to Chris about replacing my transmission. He had my car picked up when he said he would, the transmission arrived when he said it would, and I got my car back when he said I would.

Chris was able to beat Owen Ford's price by quite a few hundred dollars and provided a better warranty. I felt like there was complete transparency through the entire transaction and was never left wondering what was going on with my car or what it was going to cost. Customer service is A1.

I came to this store on my last legs my Land Rover was my only car and my family had attempted to fix it made it worse. This garage fixed it right the first time got it taken care of with out question. I needed a transmission swapped out. It was done quickly and right i can not recommend this place more. Chris the main guy was great and got me taken care of. I;m very happy.

Our AC went out with a dog in the car on a cross-country drive during the summer heatwave... We stopped in Terra Heute for the night. Chris said the AC likely has a very slow leak. He recharged it the next morning and it blows cold air again. We are back on the road on time with a very happy dog!

I've been going here for a long time. I love the fact that Chris and his staff always treat me like I'm a new customer. And the dogs are like family too. He's seen my family grow and vice versa. Great guys all of them.

Whenever I've done price comparisons with other places, AAMCO in Terre Haute always has a lower price. One time, they even saved me a transmission replacement when that was what all the other mechanics were telling me that's what I needed. They're also really good about giving me a ride where I need to go. They work quickly and they let me know what is necessary to fix immediately and what can wait a little while.

Chris always does a great job quickly! Price is always fair! Mainly I can trust the will do only what’s necessary and keep me informed!

It was a great place to get my 1 ton pickup transmission rebuilt. I have a big truck, they had plenty of room for it. Did it right on time, and did it fast and quick. It only took 1 week.
