Crossway Baptist Church

When you walk in this church, you can feel God moving within the people. The music is wonderful and purposeful for worship. The ministries are well-organized and focused on furthering the Gospel. They are also centered on reaching the lost in the community, such as Freeway drug recovery ministry. Pastor Bumpers is a phenomenal speaker. He has a way of taking stories from the Bible relevant today. In addition, he leads the church closer to God and challenges the church to lead a holy life.

My new church home. My parents started going here last year and absolutely loved it so I went to some services with them and love it as well. Large church but everyone makes you feel at home. Love Pastor Eddie! Speaks the truth of the Bible and genuinely cares for others. Will be joining classes soon as well. Also everyone in the kids area are very nice and my son likes it.

It's a great church. The music is wonderful and the preaching is biblically sound. Ushers are always friendly and we met a few great people without even trying.

Honestly an amazing experience every single Sunday! Everyone there is loving and kind! The pastor is ON FIRE for God ALL of the time and preaches fantastic each and every service. My whole family and I love everything about this church. Please come see for yourself how amazing it truly is!

Best bible preaching church in town. We are always welcomed as if we are family. Great music both hymns and modern music together. We don't have to choose between the classic or modern service because it all combines jn all their services. Refreshing to see the youth sitting close to the front and actually paying attention!

We love Crossway Baptist Church. The message is always bible based and the music is first rate. Pastor Bumpers is not afraid to preach the truth. I like that they have a large children’s, youth and young adult presence. Great for a single person or multi generation family. It’s a large church with a small family friendly church feel.

Wonderful, fantastic church! Eddie Bumpers is the absolute best pastor who loves God and has a heart for people. Our family will never live farther away than what we can continue to be an active part of Crossway Baptist Church.

Crossway Baptist church. It's on the opposite side of Springfield where we live but it's well worth the drive. We have been in search of new church home for a couple months now. This church blew us away. It surpassed all expectations. I can't remember the last time I heard a sermon that made me cry. Such an amazing place. Our children also had a great experience and we are all looking forward to going back.

Love this place.. Such a caring place. Awesome music, we have a preacher who preaches from the bible and does not water down the gospel even if it steps on someone's toes.. The holy spirit moves in this place.... Lots of excellent children's programs and very mission minded...

Amazing experience here that will change your life

This is a large church but it feels as welcoming as any small country church you've ever been to. Everyone is friendly and you will meet people from all walks of life and backgrounds with Jesus being the common denominator here.

I went to this Church from the age of 14-21, and only moved because I became a pastor elsewhere. There is no better Church in Springfield Missouri.

They are doctrinally sound
They are Gospel centered
The Word is central in their services and small groups
Their focus is on evangelicalism and discipleship
They have a heavy emphasis on missions, giving over a million dollars to missions /IMB during the last year I attended

They also have something to offer for all groups and a full time staff member / pastor to invest in nearly every group imaginable. I specifically was in the highschool and college ministry which are the best in the city (no exaggeration).

The worship is great, and the preaching is amazing. Pastor Bumpers is one of the best Expository Preachers I have ever met.

This is the Church that you will grow in, this is the Church you want to raise a family in.

I love this place! As soon as you step foot in the building you’re greeted with smiling faces and you can just feel God’s presence from the preaching to the worship. It’s a powerful place to be.

They are bigger then the church I'd usually try to attend bit I tell you what these folks have treated me like family from day one they greet you answer any questions even called me after attending.Me and my daughter will hopefully be able to get baptized here I really hope cause I love this place dont feel like your being judged when you walk in for tattoos or anything like that like alot of other places.I want to thank all of Crossway for making this easy and painless as possible

This church is our favorite place to be. The pastor is so full of the Holy Spirit and you can feel it all throughout the room. There are so many activities for all of the kids and they learned so much

I'm not a member of this family of Crossway, I did visit and BIG PICTURE my family and I will be going back!! The praise and worship spoke to my heart, the message sparked my mind, and the engagement with children fall inline with beliefs and encouragement to inspire relationship with CHRIST !!! I DIG IT!!

Their choir is so good and anointed, it really touched my heart and also prepared it for the message. Pastor Eddie is so laid back, and also funny, but VERY bold.
