They were very well informed on options. I had a difficult shead attached to a garage and they did a fantastic job. U highly recommend.

Critique: Hill’s Roofing LLC
4/28/23
Evaluation by: Resident Owner.
Project: 44’x16’ building, approximately “11 squares” with new vents.
Location: Camp Creek area, Springfield, OR.
Evaluation:
Oregon Contractor Board indicated a good report over a ten year period—-no complaints.
The owner’s  (Li ?) was prompted with a bid which appeared to be approximately 10% lower than competitor’s bid.
The business completed a tear-off and re-roof with Owens-Corning composition shingles over two days, working AM hours only.
The work area was kept clean during the roofing process. The project required replacement of some areas of the plywood deck due to previous water damaged. The owner purchased seven exterior plywood 4’x8’x1/2” sheets. The wood replacement required two additional hours by two roofers. The finished project appeared to meet acceptable standards via a visual observation.
CONCERNS:
Additional labor charges were not explained. Why paying labor for two workers when only one of the workers does the work?
Hill’s Roofing LLC failed to indicate a warranty for their installation. Further, Hill’s Roofing chose to not provide responsibilities by their absence of a signature.
Hill’s Roofing LLC chose to not provide a receipt for the project being paid in-full nor proof the roofing  materials were paid for.
The owner of the building has a copy of the personal check written in full at the completion of the project.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Hill’s Roofing LLC seemed meet construction standards.
Too many unknown business practices by Hill’s Roofing LLC, therefore I would not recommend them until issues are in writing as well as binding including attorney fees.
