IKE Box Café

Pretty darn tasty breakfast sandwiches and pastries! Parking was difficult for a Saturday morning but worth the circling. We stopped by en route down the coast, and it had a local vibe with really cool old town theater decor. Service was a bit slow but we weren’t in a rush, just hungry.

Charming and beautiful cafe in downtown Salem. It seems like a repurposed library of sorts but they have made excellent use of this space. There’s plenty of natural lighting during the day. This place really has a nice vibe and reminds me of a college building.

Excellent spot for remote work, studying, writing or whatever you are into. The food is also surprising good. I got a mocha and sandwich, they were very well prepared. Highly recommend visiting this place in the morning time

We used their space as a venue for a workshop we hosted. It was so affordable and a great space for our needs.

I attended an event here and the space and accommodations were really great. Professional sound hooked up and a nice tall stage. Ample seating plus back table for catering food. Separate room for check ins and they also provided coffee service. Clean bathrooms. Lots of available parking.

Always friendly staff working and I love the mission of the place. When the space is open for seating inside, theres always a table you can find and it's a dream of such open space and great music. Seasonal specials every few months which is my fav. Love seeing the regulars come together here so often - It really has a community feel inside! Their outdoor tables are perfect on a warm day for talking with friends or reading a book. Blueberry lemon scone is 10/10 and the muffins are just as good!

Loved this place! My favorite cafe. The layout and setting is great. I've been during the day and its been fairly quiet if you need to concentrate on something. The space is expansive and comfortable. There's other smaller area if you don't like to be in a big open room. Their pastries are delicious and the espresso is yum!

Great coffee and friendly staff. I meet here regularly with a group of crafters. It works! They have a meeting room available, too, but you need to sign up for that in advance.

If you don't go to support the mission alone, you may be missing the point.
The coffee is good, better than most chains with lines that make you wonder if people are ever actually on time for work.

First time coming here, and it was amazing! The staff was nice greeting us as we came into the café, was patient as I took my time to decide what I wanted, and was also helpful in recommending a delicious drink.
It was a White Chocolate Mocha with Raspberry, which I got with oat milk, my wife got a Vanilla Matcha Latte, and we shared a Chocolate Chip Cookie.
The ambience is also very relaxed and old school scenery.
They sell their own merch and Sister Coffee beans, which I will be trying soon.
Definitely going back, and recommend the café.

This is a gorgeous café. The interior is spacious and the painted murals are lovely! The coffee is delicious. The service was great. I would have liked more substantial food choices, but that's a personal preference.

It's a little loud because of the piano, but besides that, I love the atmosphere of IKE Box. I would recommend that anyone come here if you're looking for a nice time.

Their oatmilk coffees always taste a little strange, but all their other food and drinks are amazing!! Service is always fast and excellent; highly recommend

I have only gone a handful of times but this will be my go-to for coffee and snacks. Not just for the calm, warm, and friendly atmosphere but also everything has been delicious.

Great place to hang out with friends. Not too noisy, single floor, fairly big space. Read, play games. Has a piano.

I’ve recently discovered this treasure of a place! The cozy atmosphere, local coffee, and food is so rich and enjoyable! I absolutely love the art featured by a local painter as well ❤❤❤

This wonderful old, spacious building is set up to provide a space for conversations: just 2 or half a dozen. Great coffee!!
