Very down-to-earth, helpful, open minded, and accepting people. I have been working on discovering natural treatments for my severe bipolar/borderline skitzophrenic symptoms. These guys were knowledgeable in various natural medicines other than marijuana. I'm not looking to simply get high, but to enrich my quality of life. These guys opened me up to healthy alternative avenues.

Awesome books galore all ages all genders really. Of course boys to men need to read these books more than us gals. Support support support f and m and all forms in between...this store is awesome and needs support and is vital to our community and world in general. Something for all. Hit it up folks!!!

Part of my impromptu Portlandia tour for my family, unfortunately it was closed! Next door was a really cool antique shop and after headed to Powell's to find the secret hiding spot!

The only bookstore that can compete with Powell's for my money. They have yoga and a cafe now and lots of other community events. Great place to browse or buy presents.

Unique in everyway, this bookstore is a gem and not just because of Portlandia. I sat in on an open discussion which expanded my views.
