Pete's Bar & Grill

We celebrated Christmas after the actual day with 16 of us along with 101 year old family matriarch. While Pete's does not take reservations we were accommodated if we could arrive right at opening at 4:30pm. Tables were moved together and our group arrived . There were two servers assigned to our group who did an impeccable job of keeping drinks filled and orders accurate. All but our matriarch were from out of town, Indy, Monrovia , Yorktown and Portland. The food was great as attested to by the pictures . Pete's is providing food selections normally seen in much bigger markets rather than in a rather small town passed through on Indiana State Road 67. They had a very good selection of craft beers . The servers were excellent as noted . Chef came out throughout our meal to check on us , hats off to Chef. Whether you live nearby or are passing through , Pete's is recommended !!!

Always great service. Owner regularly visits tables and checks on quality. Food is excellent, and servers are knowledgeable and very helpful! Extremely reasonable prices. Can't beat it for a nice relaxing evening!

Absolutely knocked it out of the park. What an amazing little place in the town of Albany IN. I was hauling grain and drove by this place. The wife and I decided to head up here on this fine Saturday. Petes staff was very friendly and got us seated very promptly. Our server Shelly was amazing. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. Food came out very fast and very fresh.

I ordered the chicken tenders and it was complimented by tater tots and green beans. They have several options to order. Very nice portions. The green beans had fresh bacon bits and some kind of garlic tomato seasoning. Very tasty.

My Wife ordered the Indiana Mac and Cheese with pulled pork complimented by bacon Brussel sprouts and a small side salad. The Mac and Cheese is big enough to feed 2 people and still have left overs. The Mac and Cheese was creamy and perfectly tender. The Brussel sprouts had a bacon and tomato seasoning on them. Absolutely well worth the money.

If I didn't say it earlier, this place is well worth a drive from about anywhere. They have indoor seating, bar seating, and outdoor patio seating. It was a little windy so we opted for the indoor. The prices weren't too bad for the portion size. Highly recommend you eat here. Also the little table extension at the end made it very handy for getting food boxed up. Very neat idea.

Food was great, atmosphere is fun for adults and kids and service is always terrific! My smoked brisket was delicious!

First Visit ever. Great food! They were very busy but we still had great service and it didn't take long to receive our food. Prime Rib was amazing!

A remodeled place, even the old owner was there eating the day I visited. A full bar and selection of microbrews had servers busy, and the food was more than you would expect from a small town an hour away from Indianapolis.
While Muncie has chain food (college town), this is a standout to me, and Albany has several ice cream (!) places, which I try in summer. They are closed for the season by October so a couple other places are barely worth mentioning..

We came because a dear friend of ours loves eating here and they are basically a regular there. The food does not disappoint, fantastic portions and great for the price (very reasonable prices too)- great selection of foods and drinks. Staff was patient and very helpful with choosing what to order. We definitely want to stop in next time we’re in town ☺

Loved it. Great food,great service,nice atmosphere,and family friendly. Smoked pork chop was beyond awesome and right around a pound. Pretty decent prices as well.

Great little restaraunt in a small town! Must visit! Had the mac and cheese with brisket! Both were sooo amazing together. Staff is top notch as well!

Pete's platter was excellent, huge portions...if you leave here hungry, you've done something wrong. Hands down, the best spinach and artichoke dip I've ever had! From the salad, to the hand cut beer battered onion rings to their homemade baguette bread, everything was fresh, tasty and presented beautifully! Our server, Sami, was knowledgeable about the menu, gave us great recommendations and we never had to ask for a thing!

1st time here since new owners... great atmosphere, great food, great service, the Carmel burger and breaded tenderloin... good eating 👌

Talk about an all around wonderful experience. Pete’s catered a funeral dinner for 30 people. Jill was very accommodating and great to work with . The food was excellent….we had Mac and cheese, roasted potatoes, rolls , veggie display, barbecue meatballs, pork loin , and baked steak. You can’t go wrong with any of the food we had. They brought plates and silverware plus pop and water. In a time of a death of a loved one the last thing you want to worry about is food. Pete’s took care of that for us. Highly recommended!!!!!

First time here and the food is great! Nice portions, great flavor. Dinner followed by a nice bourbon. Definitely will be back soon

Really delicious! We used Pete's Bbq to cater our wedding, and they did an incredible job! They were very personable, accommodating, and great to work with. The food was very good and very reasonably priced! They customized things for us and made our day very special! The bourbon baked steak was our favorite, and it was different from anything we'd tried before. The mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, green beans, and pulled pork were excellent, as well! Would absolutely recommend!

Very hospitable and friendly! The waitress was fantastic and kept our drinks full. Food was delicious and quick. The flavor of the hamburgers and the pulled pork was worth the drive to Albany! We will be returning. Very comfortable and down-home feel. Loved it!

Pete’s catered our wedding and we couldn’t have been happier! We finished our ceremony early and Pete’s worked with us to serve dinner early to avoid a extra long cocktail hour. Not only were they flexible but the food was incredible. With a family full of chefs, everyone was raving about how amazing the food was. We couldn’t have been happier.

One of the best pork sandwiches I have ever had. And I lived in NC for 10 years and TX for 11 years! Now that's impressive!

Normally I get ribs here, great BBQ. However, I was hungry for a steak this time. Ordered the Filet - OUTSTANDING!

The staff is friendly and the food was great. I had the brisket plate. I will definitely be going back there in the future.
