Really beautiful, lots of wildlife and multiple ponds to fish in. There were many different species of ducks and birds, cute little critters swimming in the water, and lots of deer. We didn’t catch anything but it was fun to try!

If you want to see deer, fish, and walk on nature trails come to McNary Wildlife Nature. Just don't go off the trail because there's deer ticks. I love how relaxing it is here, you can bring the kids to the playground as well and also enjoy the picnic tables in this park.

I love driving slow throughout the reserve and seeing all the amazing wildlife. There are a few places to park and view.

This is a wonderful place where people of all physical abilities can find something to enjoy. There are Trails for the young and those with dogs to walk. There are quiet roads to travel, and indoor facilities at the dam. Birders love the place, as it attracts many species, some from far away, at times. It is very close to I-82, making access a snap. Bring a picnic lunch!

Love these trails! There is tons of fish, ducks, deer, and the occasional osprey. There is 3 parks plus a big trail system with lots of shaded trailway! (thats where the ducks are)

There is also a fish observatory for the dam nearby and a really big Frisbee golf course

The roads are HORRIBLE but it's one of the only places to get access to nature around here as the Corps of Engineers has taken over all of the Columbia River access not allowing people to use it. They're about to get a "Right of Use" violation. Just wait.

Great place for walks. Just fished there yesterday and as we are new to fishing here we aren't sure it's the best place as.it probably gets over fished.

Easy walk. Be wary of ticks in the summer months, for you and your pets. If you see deer, approach slowly and quietly and they won't run off. They are used to humans and do get curious.

Great place to fish at the ponds. Lots of weeds in the water, but not a problem if you have bobbers and short leaders.

Beautiful views, and one can often find deer roaming the area. Lots of well kept trails, and the ponds are excellent for fishing. Pet friendly. Do not go into the tall grass, though, as it may contain ticks. One time, I took my dog to the trails so we could get some exercise, and enjoy the sunshine, but my dog wandered into the tall grass. The poor thing was covered in ticks, afterwards! Luckily, none stuck to either him or myself. Otherwise it's a wonderful place in which, I have many good memories. There's a few different entrances, one of which has a pond with a fountain, and it's stocked with trout every year. The rest of the ponds there have fish like bluegill. At the information center, there is a viewing room (like an aquarium), where you can see all sorts of fish. The park, and viewing room are free to use. Park closes at night.
