Been walking this trail for over 20 years and is a must when coming back to the area to visit. Quiet, peaceful and fun! Bring a flashlight for the abandoned tunnel ahead on trail!

Beautiful trail to walk! I wouldn’t recommend this trail if you have toddlers as there’s a lot of poisonous spiders in the bushes and rocks. Take a water bottle and a snack!

Great fishing spot and parking and Trail Walk or jogging. Awesome view of the Columbia River and the Oregon Washington State Boarders.

Great place for biking or hiking. Interesting walk through the old railroad tunnel. Must have been used when they were building the dam. About a 2.5-3 mile walk to McNary Dam. Decent trail not maintained.

Easy hike. interesting walking through the tunnel then follow the trail up close to the base of the dam. The trail just kind of ends as the land is marked not to enter. Could have walked around and on up to the dam although there is no access on this side. It was interesting and hope to go there again.

This portage route is right by the river. There are nice views and the main reason to be here seems to be fishing in the river.
