Beautiful peaceful little quiet park in Gary! Very nice place with small park for family and kids. Nice hangout

I'm not sure if this place packs a crowd during the summer, but the temperature is 51in April so it's completely empty. I love this type of weather and this park is a great place to enjoy the day. With cabanas, grills, restrooms and walking trail you won't be disappointed.

We love lake etta!! Until 2021 I hadn't been since I was a child. It's nice to see the park is still here open and well kept. We live not far from here and use it whenever we need a nice place close to home for a tiny nature get away to walk talk and just enjoy

The grounds and inside of the building were beautiful and clean. The banquet hall was beautifully decorated. The staff was kind and helpful. The catered food was very good. I hope our congregation continues to use them for major events.

My home away from home!! Quiet, safe, great for birdwatching, walking for exercise or just sitting and enjoying nature. What more can you ask for than all this and a place to fire up a grill when you get a little hungry! Love it..

This great park also borders the Little Calumet River but you need to follow the trail at the back of the park to get there.

The whole park and banquet hall are very nicely maintained.

Relaxing park even if you just want to sit in your car and relax under a shady tree for a few minutes. Lots of geese to enjoy (or loathe). Has a little hall that can be rented out as well.

The park was very clean. Easy to find and lots of parking. The flowers will make it even better. Perfect spot to gather for a micro-wedding.

I love this park. So beautiful and quiet. It is a jewel and highly underused!

There a quite a few things to do. Fishing, paddle boating and nice playground for kids. Very affordable to rent shelter and you can bbq on premises.

It was extremely nice. The staff assisted us because we had wheelchairs and we caught large fish.
