Deep River County Park

Very nice park! Clean and well maintained. Would love to see a Grinders 1860 baseball game hete.

A beautiful place to walk, relax, take the kids and walk the dogs. A beautiful place to do a photo shoot of family, friends or just nature. I went alone today just to un stress and took a 2 mile hike around. Beautiful

Deep River County Park is a great place for weddings, and the Deep River Grinders. Come out and watch for free an 1858Rules game of vintage baseball ball.
Starting in 1990, the welcoming Grinders have played base ball clubs from the Midwest and beyond. Fans have been treated to home made chocolate chip cookies. Old fashioned sarsaparilla has been sold to the fans. As many as three hundred spectators attend each of the six games played at this wonderful Field of Dreams like site with its grist mill in center field, barn in right field and river running across most of the backside of the outfield.

It is a DEEP RIVER after heavily rained. We went there for a maple syrup introduction ONLY in March, including craft making, maple syrup making, maple syrup tasting, tree talk, and shopped.

This park is AMAZING. Some of the trails are over grown right now but still my husband pup and I have HOURS of great walks with beautiful scenery.. Breath taking.

This park is so pretty. From the old mill to the gazebo to the crick. It's such a nice place to take a walk. I love to bring my dog along. He loves it too.

Had such a great experience learning how maple syrup is made at the sugar shack

We went during maple fest. Pleasant people, enjoyed learning. There are plenty of places to sit and just enjoy nature. The historic buildings are cool. Can't wait to go catch a baseball game.

Absolutely beautiful place for fall pictures. Lots of big trees around the property. A small river and a big open field.

We love this place. Awesome trails and lots of things to see. You can get lost on trails lol. The old tunnel under the train tracks is really neat with lots of “artwork” on the walls. Very cool place.

Next to Imagination Glen in Portage, these are my favorite trails in the Region. The dog and I drive 25 minutes every day just to creek stomp and hike the trails and play scenting games in the fields. Every new trail we've explored has offered us a new place for him to play in the water or a pretty field or just something new to explore. We've been going nearly daily for over a month and still haven't finished all the trails. #hiking #trails #nwi

Great place to hike. Very peaceful. The gift shop wasn't open. Wish we could of went in. I think we went to early in the season cuz no buildings were open to look in.

Cute Fall Fest, gift shop, there are walking trails, it isn't as big as Buckley Homestead, but it is nice when you want to go out but make a quick trip. They have a gift shop with apple butter, honey etc. You can walk through the old mill.

Loved this park! Grist, historic bldg, gazebo and bridges. Great place for a wedding. Which is why I was here. I did not get a chance to see rest of park. But from what I did see, was beautiful and picturesq!

Nice place for a stroll! Great area for pictures

We came here for the first time to plant a sunflower. The lady who helped us was fabulous and informative. She also does the little event they have on Wednesdays during the summer and she is just great with the kids. We then went into the mill and the gentleman inside there was awesome and very nice and showed us how everything worked. Finally, we walked around and everything was abslouty beautiful!! The flowers were nice and the grass was clean. We didn't get a chance to do the trails but will be back again to explore.

We took our 3 years old grandson for pictures. The grounds were perfect and the weather accommodating. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. A great day.

I've been coming here since I was a kid, and it's a really fun place to being my wife and kid.

This is a great hike! There's a lot to see. The trails and terrain change frequently so wear good shoes. Also there's a great visitors center.

A wonderful place for a walk. They have a shop and a mill for grain that is open at certain times. A beautiful gazebo for weddings. In the summer you can watch a baseball game.
