Never caught my servers name, but when I ordered the flaming cheese she said she was a fire sign and she loved doing it. She was attentive, so nice, and had a great personality! Food was awesome and I will definitely be going back. Good atmosphere and great staff.

Been craving saganaki for weeks now and we finally found some! I'd go back for it again.

This was my parties first time here. My daughter absolutely Loves Greek food so this was a new treat for her. She ordered the souvlaki dinner and loved it. She said the seasoning on the pork was so delicious. Her husband ordered the gyros deluxe plate and said Maxim's meat was one of the best seasoned flavorful gyros he's had. My husband ordered the roasted leg of lamb. He Loves lamb but I don't make it because my mom made it when I was young and it was truly horrible!! I asked to try a small piece and I really liked it!! It was very tender and mild tasting. I'm not a game meat person but I would order Maxim's lamb. I ordered the talapia stuffed with crabmeat. It was delicious!! The seasoning on the fish was so good! And the crab stuffing had big chunks of meat with cheese in it; so tasty. We all were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. We will all be back again to try many more dishes on their menu. Oh, we also ordered the fresh mozzarella cheese sticks for an appetizer. The best I've ever had! The cheese was so delicious, definitely fresh!

Everything I had was delicious! Seriously tastes like a home cooked meal. I grew up here in the region and would always come after football games. I moved away almost 20 years ago. During our visit we had to stop by. Everything was as wonderful as I remember!

Could this be the best pizza in Merrillville?? We stopped here on a whim and ordered the spinach and sausage pizza.. so delicious nice and buttery melts in your mouth! Definitely 5 star pizza!

I love the food here. Never a miss for me. My favorites are lemon rice soup, house salad, the warm bread, fried chicken wings, gyro sandwich and pretty much all the breakfast food.

Sweet personality service. Food was on point. Had more than I could eat. Definitely will come there again. Fridge full of pies that I realized so the end I'm still coming back from more

The food and service were excellent!! Walked out knowing I got my money's worth! The portion sizes are big enough for 2 people and are delicious.

My son was treating my husband and me for breakfast and the food was really good. Considering how much food you can have for breakfast..the price is very reasonable.

I have been going here for over 20 years with my Grandma. Chances are if you are from the region, you have too lol. It is good food with a wide variety on the menu for all ages. They come with great portions and cheap prices. The saganaki is by far the best saganaki ever. I've traveled a lot and eaten at many Greek restaurants, but Maxim's takes the cake :)

Best place for lemon rice soup, patty melt and fresh pickles! Food and service is always great and consistent. Family friendly atmosphere.

Maxim's Special Spinach pizza is the third best pizza I ever had.

Staff were great. Attentive and sweet. Drinks were kept filled. We had a large party, food came out hot despite such a huge order. Restaurant was clean. Staff gave us a free dessert for a birthday.

The saganaki was a little salty but delicious nonetheless
