The Ark Veterinary Clinic

One of the best experiences I have ever had at a Veterinary Office. Everyone was so kind and patient with us, and let us stay in one of their exam rooms for over three hours while we made difficult decisions. Both the Vet and the nurse shared personal experiences and offered really helpful advice throughout the entire process. They were compassionate, personable, and knowledgeable. It never felt like they were fooling us or trying to gouge us, but still didn't minimize our dog's health concerns. I would highly recommend their services and office. Thank you Ark.

So after my vet couldn’t get me in and the emergency vet clinic in Springfield said they could not treat my guinea pig, I called the Ark, when asked, yes we do and can you come in at 10, that was 45 minutes!!
Not only did they get me in, the vet was kind gentle, and knowledgeable. She did a thorough exam, and when I voiced my concerns, she could answer my questions, so that I understood. she gave me a plan and advice on what to do next. She was amazing, and the rest of the staff, were very nice and welcoming. Considering I was worried about my animal, I went home very comfortable and confident. I will be using this vet clinic again.

Dr. Mercer and Lindsay were extremely patient and kind with my cat as they checked over him for his ongoing issues. They provided me with easy to understand options for our next steps and gave me plenty of time to ask questions and make decisions for my pet. They took excellent care of my cat and we're looking forward to many years of visits to the Ark! Thanks as always for the great service!

I recommend the Ark to everyone in my life. They have always treated me and my dog with such compassion and honesty. My dog, Fergus, had very challenging health issues which were hard to diagnose and not very possible to treat. They kept me so informed throughout the process, gave me tons of options when they could, and never judged or shamed me for what I chose for him. They worked hard to keep cost low, and I felt like they always genuinely cared for us. I had to euthanize my dog eventually and it was such a blessing that I could that with the Ark. They were so patient and kind with me during that. After he died, the staff sent me a condolence card which meant the world. My dog had a hard life before meeting me and the Ark was a critical part of giving him the kindness he always deserved. I will always recommend them and be thankful for the treatment we received. 💙 thank you from me and Fergus💙

Okay, these guys are awesome!!! They took very good of my little dog. Explained everything in a way that I understood. Great staff! Very good prices also. This is where I am going to continue to go to in the future.

We travel for work so getting with a vet is hard when we need to , they cared about my baby as soon as I said what was going on over the phone and got me in same day, the place is super clean and the staff is so nice. Fir was scared to go in the back and they let me walk him back there instead of dragging him. I did leave the room so they could do what was needed, they said he did amazing and he was a good boy! They really took in to consideration us traveling with the treatment plan they made and got us oral a topical medicine for him! Also loved that it seemed like the appointments were spread out so the lobby wasn’t full of dogs coming or leaving. Signs to say cat area and dog area was great to see! As u can tell by the pic of Fir laying spread out he was very relaxed and calm during the whole thing and he loved the cheese wiz they had. If we are back in the area I will be going to only them! Thanks for taking amazing care of us!

I came to Ark to get a second opinion for my little Shitzu, as the day before we were advised that it is time to put him down as it seems like he has a mass in his prostate. After exam and discussion, the results seem like the same as we were told at the first vet. I really appreciated the way we were treated with compassion. I am struggling to know how and when to put Gizmo down and if it is the right thing for him and not me. The vet did a great job of explaining how to find 5 things that he enjoys doing and if he is doing less than half, then it helps us to know what quality of life he has. This made it so much easier to understand to help us with this difficult decision. It was also easy to make the appointment and all went on schedule. Thanks for an compassionate and well explained process during this time.

Brought in my anxious little heeler pup for a physical and behavioral exam and consultation. The techs and vet were very thorough, welcoming, and helpful. We came down all the way from Portland and were not disappointed. The Ark was recommended by the Pacific Northwest Cattle Dog Rescue.

Had an unusual situation with my pup, who recently started isolation during the day. No physical symptoms that pointed to an issue there, so I wanted blood work to rule out something internal and was lucky enough to get their doc who specializes in behavioral health. He was very good, listened well, took his time and gave me good direction to address my concern. I was also able to get an appt the next day.

So far this is the best experience with a veterinarian office, the pricing and overall experience with the staff has been great! I actually look forward to coming in for regular check ups and help with my puppy, Carl!

After so many bad experiences at Westmoreland VCA I am particularly grateful to have found the ARK.

The Ark Veterinary Clinic was such a life-saver for our newly-adopted dog. They were able to see us right away when we had an emergency, and the staff were incredibly kind and caring toward our little guy--as he was having quite a bit of anxiety with all of the life transitions and this medical emergency to boot. A BIG GRATEFUL THANK YOU to all the clinic's wonderful staff!!!

My 12 year old cat, Stripes was having pain and after calling several vets, The Ark was able to see her and gave her a complete exam and brought her current with her shots. The Ark saw her in just a few hours after I called them! Huge shout out to the friendly staff and vet for taking care of her! Stripes is back to being herself without pain.

I have never been so cared for at a veterinary before. We went in as a drop off. Our puppies was very sick. He passed away but not before every Vet left what they were doing to try and revive him. The people (Rhonda Parker) so compassionate. Very reasonable in price. Thank you

Had both of our kitties into see Dr. Cordes for their annual. First time with this vet. She was super friendly and made our kitties feel better about the visit. I Recommend Dr. Cordes as your kitty vet here for sure!

Loved that this vet was able to get me in right away for an emergency vet visit during the holidays. All of the staff and Dr.'s care about your pets wellbeing and have been following up on my cat's health. I will definitely be going back!

I’m a first time cat mama & had to take my two fluffballs to the vet for some vaccines. I was very nervous ahead of time, knowing that my little Rusty can be pretty skittish, and this was my first time taking them to the vet. Dr Cordes and Lindsay were amazing!! The exam included lots of pets, which definitely helped my cats not feel so anxious! I’ve never been able to pick up Rusty without him flailing out of my arms, but Lindsay and Dr. Cordes had the magic touch! (He even lets me pick him up at home now.) We are happy to call this place our vet & love knowing our babies are in such great care!!

Great service. Quick to schedule an appointment on the same day. Pug with an ear infection. Reasonable charge. No unnecessary tests done. Pleased.
