Travelodge by Wyndham East Portland/Gresham

This place is really affordable the staff are super friendly the showers are nice and spacious for tall people....wish they had continental breakfast...

Absolutely love this hotel. It's small, privately owned, and tucked away in a safer area. Location is great. I also want to emphasize that this hotel is in a very SAFE area. No crime very few of any homeless lurking so your vehicle is safe here as are you. The nicest Walmart in all of the metro is right across the street. Shopping retailers are within 1.5 miles. Grocery retailers as well. Rates are reasonableand rooms are CLEAN!!!! Staff is amazing and small so you get to know Buck, Shanelle, Shelly, and Leroy. They're all very nice and accommodating. I can't say enough great things about this hotel. I've frequented it for over a year. Highly recommend and will be back anytime I return to Portland. Recommend for business travel( short or long-term), short family stay( no pool or restaurant). There are alot of places near by. With children in tow, I wouldn't spend more than a weekend here. It's a 2-star hotel no real amenities other than coffee and fresh ice water are complimentary 24/7.

We really enjoyed the staff and the privacy they gave. The rooms were nice, clean and had all amenities for the stay. The location was easy to find and had a few places to shop and eat close by, the price was unbeatable as well.

This place is the best. Idk what all the bad reviews are about. The people sound salty. Been staying here awhile and it’s cheap, quiet, safe, right next to freeway and Walmart, teriyaki, Starbucks, gas, a lot of stuff. No one bothers you, guests aren’t super loud and housekeeping is really nice! AC works great too! And wifi is quick. Honestly the best place at this price in all wood village, Troutdale, Fairview area. Thanks Travelodge!

I recently stayed for an extended time while waiting to find a place. The service for the rooms was prompt and the workers very friendly and willing to help. Linens was clean and fresh smelling. Desk staff was amazing. It is an older Hotel so a little age scented but nothing terrible. A little spritz of air freshener or perfume takes care of that.
It is easily accessible from I-84 and there is convenience store with gas, fast food, and a Walmart right across the street.

Wonderfully clean and quiet. And the p ice is good too😁

Staff is down right fenominal, no matter the situation of the customer, they will work with you, care of you!
One place that yes check out and check in time is important for business , but they are above and beyond that when it cimes to their customers

I absolutely love it! Me and my fiance are currently homeless and they never don't accept different payments. The two ladies at the desk never ask for his ID cause he doesn't have one and they let us stay as long as we need to. Last time we stayed there for four months and they kept a set rate for us, which was super nice. The housekeeping is always nice and friendly and they clean very well. Everyone here is so accommodating and friendly. They know us pretty well and treat us like family.
The only reason we left is when we were paying for another week, the manager, who was clearly drunk or on something was super mean to us and confrontational, but his wife told him we have lived there for a while and he looked like he was about to pick a fight with us. We immediately pack our stuff and left. Luckily we found a hotel with a kitchen and had to come back cause of their policy. They remembered us and it was super sweet
It was super convenient that they have shopping nearly, Walmart, Winco, Natural Grocers, Fred Myer are all within a 10 min drive. They even have a few restaurants around including Killer Burger and Mod Pizza 🍕☺ We love it here tbh

It's my Vacation home. Me and my Girlfriend go there anytime we need to get away. It's always clean, quite, comfortable and the coffee is always hot. The staff is courteous and it always a good price.

This is the hotel my company put us up while our truck is in the shop getting fixed. Nice employees and staff. While the rooms are not ultra luxurious they are clean. The beds are really comfy and if there were any guest in the next room we sure didn't hear them. A big plus having a walmart right across the street. Couple fast food places and a teriyaki restaurant nearby too. Would I stay here on my own? Yes because what do we really do but sleep in hotels.

I was skeptical of the hotel upon reading the reviews. But it's a regular Travelodge. No issues in my 1 night stay. If you've been to a Travelodge before you know it's not the fanciest place to stay in the city, but it's gets the job done. Same is true for this Travelodge. The room was clean and organized. The room even had a microwave and a mini fridge which I don't find in most motels.
The reception staff was respectful, helpful and friendly. A single bed room for 2 people cost 90$ something for Saturday.
There's a Walmart nearby.

This place has definitely been here a while and the rooms are a little small. But seems very well-maintained and clean, The room looks like it’s been remodeled quite recently with fridge and microwave and flat screen TV. The WiFi is fast and the staff, especially the night shift guy Ron are very friendly and helpful with local information. The free breakfast was very good with a waffle maker, cereals, eggs toast and juices. Also the attached restaurant and bar was quite good with a very impressive menu and equally friendly staff.

Room was clean, everything worked, and surprisingly the appliances in room were rather sleek, given the price and look you'd probably think this is a lower end motel but the service is amazing, the rooms are clean, the restaurant/bar has great food and you can even order from your room to pick up downstairs, not quite room service, but its definitely the next best thing. Lastly , I'd like to re-emphasize the matter of price, this place has greater rates than anywhere on the east side for the person with class but understands their budget. 9/10 would definitely recommend and even come stay again! (9/10 cause non smoking facility and the only smoking area is outside the lobby/bar, but non-smokers don't worry about stuff like that.)

We were weary of staying here because of the reviews but I have to say this place was great. The night guy was so nice and very helpful. The morning guy was just as great. The rooms were very clean (we had 2). The beds looked new as well as the pillows and furniture. The price was very affordable for the area. You get a map of the area as well as a coupon for the attached bar. We will be staying here every time we are through.

For the work I had here the location was ideal. Both days were 88 and 92 degrees. Walking into a clean air conditioned room was instant relief. Slept like a baby. There is a restaurant/bar built into the bldg out front. Great calzone. Ordered a large one and it fed me for two nights. 13 dollars. A pretty good breakfast selection in the lobby from 6 to 8 am. Bring your own coffee cup if you want a full cup. That's been the norm for all the hotels I've stayed at for work. Back next week.

Prices are a little high but after staying a few other places it was worth it. All staff was amazing and nice and helpful. Didn't need a credit card or deposit. Cash and ID and no hassle check-in . Worked with us when payments for additional days took awhile on our part. Fantastic stay. Lots of things in walking distance. Everyone even other guests were very friendly! But please start allowing pets!

A shout out to all the employees there, and hats off to the housekeeping Department which has been there over two decades! It takes good people to run a great business and Travelodge definitely has it going for them. Thank you to Carla, and Carmen you guys were great to me and my family! Hope to see you again.

Very nice, helpful people. I like the accommodations. Rooms are nice and comfortable. 3 hours of breakfast in the morning, more than just cereal and muffins. They have waffles, sausage muffins, all of the above and more. I enjoyed DirecTV instead of Xfinity Spanish channels all the time at the last place I stayed. Needless to say I am not Spanish. There is a bar and restaurant as part of the accommodations.

Pretty decent place, clean, helpful staff,and the rates were a bit better than other comparable hotels. Only issue were the maids are really noisy very early in the morning

The staff were very nice and we loved the food at the bar..never got food poison the breakfast was nice the price was amazing compared to most hotels..the room was very clean I will stay here everytime I come to Portland..I had absolutely nothing to complain about!! I would recommend if you are a couple get a king size
