Great bakery that makes fresh bread. They got desserts and lunch sandwiches. They have lots of outdoor seating with limited indoor seating due to covid. Our kids loved their sandwiches. The mozzarella tri color sandwich was fresh and tasted good.

My my my! Where to start with his place.. They have cookies bigger than any baby's head LOL. Tarts, muffins, scones, quiche, fancy lattes, loafs of fresh backed breads, bottled sodas or your old school brewed coffee. Everything is delicious and if you're lucky, you might be eating here while the Jazz band comes in to play.

As I walked towards the bakery the smell brought excitement. Inside, the shop was clean, bright, and inviting. The staff was friendly, efficient, and kind. I had a blueberry muffin. It was delicious! I enjoyed the texture, taste, and smell. Don’t be scared but I think it was whole grain and therefore healthy! Yum. I will definitely come back often.

Yes, they are all wearing masks, gloves, and sanitizing. The tables are placed 6 feet apart. It is safe. All were visibly healthy.

FRESH!!!! The people are friendly, kind, helpful and the food is delicious. I have had their sandwiches, pastries, breads. I make it a point to go each week at least one time when I am in Salem. The young people are extremely respectful. The owner has taken his time to make sure everything is right. This is the type of business we need in 2020 going forward. Consistently a very positive experience.

The people here are the nicest I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I called on the 23rd of December for a last minute request to see if I could get some pastries for my coworker. The manager not only helped me out but delivered them to the office even though it isn't something they typically do. There was also no minimum requirement for the order and the pricing was extremely reasonable. If you are looking for good food and good people look no further.

My wife and I were sightseeing in the city of Salem when we were embraced by the sweet smell of baking bread. We followed our noses to the Cascade Bakery. The manager John, greeted us warmly and told us all about the company and their products. He was a great guy. We enjoyed talking about bread and our RV travels. We ended up buying two loaves and they are delicious!! John-- thanks for being part of our memorable day and memorable journey!

I have tried the bagels, the muffins, the scones, and the cinnamon rolls. All are stellar and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place. The only downside is the selection changes everyday and hasn't been the same 2 days in a row. That said I have found something worth eating every day I have been there so I haven't been disappointed yet.

We come here most often to purchase the crispy bread rounds. Our family loves them! We've also eaten lunch here and it's very good. They have local art hung around the indoor seating area which can be purchased. A great local business!

If you haven’t, I urge you to stop by and try the
Italian ciabatta!!! I stop by a few times a week to get this sandwich and It is amazing every time!!
The staff are always so welcoming and warm not to mention a variety of sweets, breads and other sandwiches, all of their food is delicious!

Great bakery. My son and I like to stop here on the way to riverfront park and share a giant $2 cookie. Employees are very nice and they have delicious baked goods including a decent gluten free selection!

I like this little bakery in downtown Salem. They have an interesting and tasteful variety of breads, sweets (scones, brownies, sweet bars-lemon, coffecake, nuts, dried fruits & grains, etc.-), salads and bagels. They have gluten/dairy-free options as well.

Simply amazing. Got a selection of baked goods as well as some challah. Not a bad bite to be found. Really looking forward to possibly having egg bagels next time around with a shmear of lox and cheese.

I got a selection of goodies from their pastry case and everything was impeccable. French baguette didn’t even make it home, so good. Already planning my next visit.

Wonderful baked goodies, breads, and individual pizzas. Nice classical music. Small jazzish band plays on Saturday mornings around 11.

This has been my favorite place to get a sandwich since I was in middle school. The atmosphere, the friendly service, and still the best simple deli sandwiches I've ever had, 10 years later.

Best croissants and other baked goods requiring lamination skills in town. Flaky, but melt in your mouth. Good stock of other breads as well.

The guy who helped me this morning was very patient and explained their store to me. We had the bread for dinner. It was amazing. I will definitely be back.

Went in for a half dozen bagels, left with 6 croissants, couldn't have been happier with my decision. Will be coming back for more!

Great Breads and very cordial young lady serving and preparing sandwiches. Turkey sandwich was excellent lots of turkey.
