Steve & I enjoyed every moment we were there. Lobby was nice and clean, staff made us feel welcome. Breakfast was ok. The pool area was nice heater was not working so we had to skip our swim but we did have the beach near by. The location is great so close to everything. Meijer right across the street is nice. The shower perfect for special needs families. Just can't say enough about the staff so very nice to us. Our room was very clean and smelled clean.

I thought I would write a review since I enjoyed my stay so much. The room was very well updated and spotless. It was very good sized with a king bed and sofa. Big bathroom as well and the shower had instant heat. There's a nicely decorated lobby with coffee. Next I'll address the breakfast against what someone else wrote. The breakfast was surprisingly phenomenal. You make your own waffle fresh with the batter from a dispenser and a hot Belgium waffle maker. There was scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, different types of bread, muffins, milk, cereal, orange juice, yogurt and biscuits and gravy. They even had chocolate chips and almonds for the waffle. The biscuits and gravy was very good. The biscuits just need to be microwaved, which you have in your room and in the breakfast room. Breakfast runs 6-9, so if you go late their won't be everything you want.

A few negatives to point out. The elevators were out of order, the ice machine was out of order and it would've been nice if there was a bottle of water in the fridge in my room. Also they want a $100 charge on a card for a deposit and they claim it will only hold as a pending charge but the money left my account and they said the charge won't be lifted for five business days.

hotel is super convenient to get to St Joseph a few short miles away . The rooms were very nice. Breakfast was good . Staying on the third floor got to be a hassle with no working elevators. Also the fact that you have to walk Three flights of stairs to go to the first floor for the only working ice machine is not ideal. Would definitely stay here again if they can get the elevator working.

Must say their bed is better than mine at home. And newer. Scrambled eggs and sausage for breakfast. Good gym that opens at 6 am and pool that closes at 10:00 pm. Good rate. And doesn’t stink. Exactly what I look for when I travel.

Clean, comfortable room, very comfortable bed/bedding. Friendly staff.

Unless you are there for the breakfast very early in the morning, it was pretty dried up by 8:30 a.m. Other than that the rooms were clean and I got a good nights sleep, it was quiet. There is a large store open late right across the street, very convenient. The pool doesn't open till 11 a.m. same time as check out. That was a bit disappointing. Book online and you will save a lot of $$.

They require a security deposit up front. No arguing or haggling.

Standard no frills hotel, breakfast was sad.

It was a good value for the night we stayed.

The location is very good with easy driving access to beaches. Rooms were okay, breakfast would have been good if items were refilled and everything was in working order. Management needs to concentrate on details a bit more.

Rooms decent, breakfast was a joke. No waffles, gravy bowl had one scoop of sludge in it that wouldve made excellent catfish bait, biscuits that were possibly made of plastic for decoration.

The Indian gentleman running the front desk completely ignores women and is rude to them. I understand that is their culture but you're in America, women get respect here. He looked at my husband after ignoring me and said "have a nice stay." He never answered my question. Never acknowledged me.
