Hampton Inn Portland East

This is a really nice Hampton Inn. The staff was very welcoming and we enjoyed our stay. The Hampton is located just outside of Portland but is only a few minutes away via I84 expressway. Our room was clean and quiet and the complimentary breakfast was really good. Highly recommended.

My overall experience of the place I spent two nights in was very good. The place looked nice and more modern than a few other places we stayed at. We liked all the amenities and services we received. Staff was friendly and helpful. I liked they had a laundry room and had all the things you need there for it there. Of course, you will need quarters, which you can ask the front desk for. I also really that the washer/dryer had timers to let you know when things were don't. Made it easier. Breakfast was really good as well. Menu on the front desk. Room was comfortable and good amount of space. Lot of plugs available to plug in all your devices.

I've stayed here at least a dozen times at this point and the hotel is always nice and clean. The little bit I have dealt with the staff, they've always been nice and friendly.

We stayed here on our way to Washington. Place is well maintained, beds are clean, television works, and coffee maker brews. Coffee is also available in the lobby late night too.

We came in late so we didn’t get a chance to try the pool, hot tub or gym.

Breakfast is hearty too.

A few suggestions to make:
The coffee maker in the room is an old fashion grounded coffee. It would be good to have a Keurig machine to use our pods in.
Some of the power outlets were not working but there were plenty around so we went to the next outlet. Power outlets available by the tv, lamps, and walls.
The bathroom door really should have a lock. A room with double beds doesn’t make sense having a bathroom door that does not lock.

This place is fantastic. My husband and I are repeat customers and have stayed many times. The staff is very friendly and communicative. The rooms are large and spacious. The bed is comfy and the water pressure is great! We’ll be back.

Hilton Hotel Chains are the best, and The Hampton is part of that chain. Nice clean pool, hot tub, room and an awesome free breakfast. Only stay at Hilton /Hamton Inns cause I know what I am going to get.

Amazing stay here. From the nice clean rooms to the indoor hot tub with a pool. The guy Lincoln at the front desk is awesome and very informative of the sweet spots around, you can talk to the guy all day he’s great. This hotel stands out man.

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. They've got isolated rooms for extended stay guests, so you don't have next door neighbors. That made for a quiet visit. Add clean rooms, helpful staff, and perfect location, I would recommend this hotel for business or pleasure.

Great location from the Portland airport -- very easy to find! Check-in was very easy and staff (including front desk and breakfast attendant) were friendly and made sight-seeing recommendations. Room was exceptionally clean and quiet. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. We slept very well after a long day. Breakfast was appreciated if unspectacular (essentially a continental breakfast with a couple prefabricated hot items mixed in) but still welcome and adds value to the stay.

Overall, for quiet and convenient comfort, this is a great place to stay.

My flight got canceled and so I ended up here. I got there at 2 am and the front desk CSR was very helpful and friendly on a laid back way, which I so appreciated because I was exhausted at this point. (I wish I had gotten her name!)

The room was clean. The bed was SO comfortable, and I don't say that easily. Breakfast was pretty impressive for a hotel. And the pool and hot tub were incredibly clean and comfortable. This stay was a pleasant surprise, I definitely recommend this hotel.

The guy working the front counter is helpful, thoughtful and cares for his guests. Part of the shower had pink algae or something at the bottom where the hinge is but aside from that the room looked clean enough.

What a service.
At 2:30 in the morning, after a very unpleasant experience in the neighborhood, the very nice receptionist helped me find a room and called over 10 other hotels. Thanks again for that!

I loved it here! Stayed twice, and looking to come back in the future. Great location off of the freeway. It's not that noisy, and you can get to places within 5 minutes. Extra bonus is that a gas station is basically right next door. The staff was friendly and professional. The room was nice and spacious with multiple outlets to plug things in. I am sorry for what occurred back in late April. To clear things up a little, it was a setup that I wanted no part of and so I left. I am sorry that you guys got involved in this matter. Everything was pretty much resolved. I still would like to make things right if need be. You guys should still have my number if I need to do anything further! Thanks again for the stay and the experience prior!

I've stayed in all kinds of hell holes in Portland. This is the best hotel for the price worth the extra 50 bucks that the other places don't charge you. Wonderful breakfast wonderful staff room was super clean and you feel safe. I think that's the best thing about this hotel is it's safe. I'm not saying your security guards running around which there are not but I never felt like something was going to happen here in some places you stay at you feel like the parking lot is suspect. I won't stay anywhere else but here.

This is your standard Hampton inn. The room and hotel were all very clean and breakfast was exactly the same as every other Hampton. My only complaint is that the front desk gave my husband a key to the room without asking for ID or his name.

Wonderfully clean place, excellent breakfast to start the day and very personable staff. Convenient location to freeway yet still very quiet. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Very unique room. The closet is alongside the window, it's more like a niche in the wall, but adequate and very clever. The bathroom had shelves that were very useful. The bathroom had three towels of each kind. The bed was very comfy. I like this hotel. It is slightly different to get into the parking lot. We just used the gas station across the street from the hotel as a turn around. We will stay here again.

Lovely, cool and comfortable rooms. Breakfast had many delicious choices.

Clean bed, clean room, clean carpet, quiet. Quick check in. For some reason the pillows were very small and lumpish and for the price, I kind of expected better. Good breakfast biscuits.

I had such a nice stay! The whole staff was very courteous(Leslie, Bertha, Mr.G, Kalena, and Billy.) Everything was clean and inviting. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable! I came for a leisurely stay to visit with family and left with the immediate thought, that I will be staying again when I come back.
