Festival Park

I go there a lot to relax and to take pictures. Very relaxing. Went again today. Still as beautiful as ever. A lot of the wildlife is migrating out for the winter.

I always look forward to the Hobart festival! This is a wonderful town in NWI. This town has a large beautiful lakefront; lake George. Every year the 3rd weekend in August the town puts on a festival. There are numerous food vendors, some craft vendors and a beer garden. There are live bands to enjoy! On Sunday there is a duck (plastic) race down the dam. Tickets are sold throughout the festival starting on Thursday night. All in all if you're traveling through the area or live near it's a must go to for family, friends and just a great time.

I have enjoyed this park for many years, the 4th of July, the summer market on Thursday the Dam Duck Race, and all the other activities they have.

We love going here to spend time outdoors and together fishing walking around playing at the park. Beautiful relaxing scenery also.

It's a really nice place if you want to just relax or play at the playground. And during summer Thursdays they have all these trucks that appear and you can get anything ranging from a toy to a meal.

Nice quiet place to go fishing with my family and they keep it clean

Festival park is my favorite park in hobart, it is very well maintained and has always been clean when I visit. The playground has very nice equipment. Love the kayak launch that was put in. I also love all the events held at festival park, they provide a safe and clean environment for children and adults alike.

I love it here! I've been coming to Lake George since I was a little girl 💜. It's one of my happy places.

Really nice park. Renovations are almost complete. Frequented daily by locals walking their dogs (saw a lady walking a skunk, once!), fishing, watching their kids enjoy the play-area, picnicking, walking, jogging, taking yoga classes, and enjoying the swinging park benches. Located adjacent to the park, is the public library. Smallish, indoor banquette area that overlooks the lake can be reserved for private events. Covered outdoor area is also available for reserve. Local residents pay reduced deposit fee.

Beautiful. Clean. Great place to hang out with the family without having to Spend any money. Always have a great time here. With my one year old granddaughter, up to my 12 year old son... we all had a wonderful time. Not to mention, as a teen... I hung out at this park too... you could say, I've grown up in this park!

Always lovely to visit. The community center is a good gathering place and often has events. There is a playground, music shell/seating area, and paved paths to walk on. Lake George is always active with people fishing and taking advantage of the view. It's a family friendly place.

This park will always hold a special place in my heart. I gret up going to Lake George fest, Friday night bands, now kayaking and the summer markets. A great way to be out and enjoying the weather. The kayak launch is also ADA compatible with a transfer bench. A new touch that makes the lake enjoyable for more Brickies.

This is one of the best parks in my area. It's so beautiful

This is a really nice park which the city of Hobart had continued to invest in. It's a nice place to experience and meet the people of the city. I stopped because I saw an event going on. I enjoyed the food and not some nice people! The park is always clean and there are always enough restrooms when they do events.

Great park with Lake George in the center. There are lots of ducks and geese, but seem to leave people alone. There's a little playground for kids including swing sets and some slides. There's usually people fishing during the warmer weather. Great place to walk dogs.

Every Thursday, a beautiful community comes together. Live music and a variety of vendors and food trucks.
