Man if u looking for some good home cooked food stop here!!.. I’m in love with their smothered pork chops with Mac n cheese and greens. I’ve tried other spots in the area and hers in the best in town frfr Neva missing a beat.. that’s why imma always choose T&T brick house soul food period

The food here was AMAZING!! NOT lacking on flavor at all!! I also got jerk tacos and meat loaf but it was eaten so fast wasn't able to get a pic

Got the BBQ chicken, mac & cheese, and broccoli & cheese from here. Definitely need a fork because that chicken's falling off the bone. Sauce has a good bold flavor too. There's a lot of good places to eat up here but this is one of the best. The lady is very nice and she can cook. Great food and it's a good portion. Definitely be coming back here. THANK YOU! 👍

The best soul food in Gary. She fed so many ppl by herself. The food is amazing this is definitely a place I am going to for a home cooked loving plate. She ran the whole store by herself on Mother's Day. She deserve tips and flowers. You will not regret eating here. I would give 10 stars if I could. Smothered turkey chops taste like heaven.

Omgggggg found this place on Google search with soul food near me and babyyy if I'm lying I'm flying hands down the best soul food I have ever tasted in my life.. I didn't catch the owners name (but the one with the tattoos and pretty smile) she was so warm and welcoming and has a beautiful spirit I wish I could give 10 stars and I'm a big food critic and don't think anyone can cook better than me but honestly lil bit got me the food was sooooooooooooooooo delicious every bite may God continue to bless her and those hands that prepare the food.. I will definitely be back when I'm in town.... just superb!!!! TRUST ME YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED..PEACE LOVE AND HAPPINESS TO U ALL..

We came from Florida looking for soul food and found our way to T&T. Food was great! Owner was very friendly, she made us feel at home.

The catfish!! The cornbread!! I'm in heaven and I got breakfast covered, cuz I think that was near a couple pounds of fish. Flavor was so good didn't even need sauce

By far the BEST soul food in Gary. I don't know why I haven't heard or been here before especially being ONLY 5 minutes away. The service was great. I ordered the smother pork chops, mac and cheese, cabbage and dressing and honestly usually I don't like dressing without cranberry sauce but I can tell you it was every bit worth of what was charged. I didn't have cash on me so had to go to the ATM which I'm glad I did. Definitely go check her out because it was SOOOOO GOOD AND FLAVORFUL. She asked me to call to let her know what I thought and I'm telling thru here and publicly. Definitely will be seeing more of ME!

Delicious!!! I had the smothered chop dinner with mac and yams plus cornbread side and it was divine. I wish I'd taken a pic before I ate everything it was absolutely delicious.

You want soul food this is the place hands down, “Truck Driver” was looking for a good place to eat this place did not disappoint! Top tier establishment

I live down the street and let me tell you this place blessed my taste buds, stomach and soul because the food is amazing. Good flavors. I ordered a small catfish fillet with macaroni and cheese, collard greens with ham hocks, cornbread and a jerk chicken taco. Mild, hot and jerk sauce came with it. Service was excellent. I will definitely be going back to eat!!

I went to T & T tonight & the food was AWESOME as usual. They had a new help & she did an awesome job. I'm very picky on how I like my fish fried 🤷🏽‍♀ I don't like it too soft nor too hard & she fried it just right & that corn was the bomb. My meal was very good as always. GREAT JOB TRINA & TEAM

When I say everything that miss Trina cooks taste like it came from heaven itself I mean exactly just that.

I have been here in Gary Indiana for the past few weeks due to truck driving training and got tired of going out to the city of Chicago to find decent good food to eat so I researched soul food near me and this place popped up.

I gave miss Trina a call and was greeted with a nice warm conversation. Told her it was my first time eating here and placed my order. when I got my food she told me to enjoying and that I will be back.

Yalllll it was the next day and I was calling to place another order. I jokingly told her she must sprinkle crack on her food because it is sooo addicting and delicious.

From the tender delicious flavoral meatloaf, the fall off the bone baked chicken, the pepper steak omg mouth watering delicious. And the sides all of them are soooo good. I literally ate here 3 days in one week because I kept wanting to try more and just couldn't get enough of her delicious soul food. It definitely touched my soul.

I promise if you eat here you will not be disappointed everything is made with love..

This is by far one of the greatest soul food places I've ever been too. Their food is both tasty and fresh. Their service is both friendly and superb. Honestly, I have no complaints on my experience with this soul food restaurant.

Friendly service and absolutely wonderful food! My daughter said the fish was the best she ever had. Baked chicken and greens were both truly awesome. Worth a special stop in Gary!
