A big shout out to Dr Hyder and his staff, after trying different ways to help me , we had the talk about what the next step for me to do , he gave me the choice of which way to go , we went ahead and did the level three spinal fusion surgery, I went from a walker , to a cane and walking by myself and now I have returned to going back to the gym and in January will go back to the ufc gym all within 3 months of my surgery oh and did I mention that I am 77 years of age , so yes I would suggest that if you want someone who has the skills to get you moving again he and his team are for you

I was in a wheelchair with no control from the waist down. Had surgery on the 27th of February and I am currently getting around again with a walker for distance and am able to walk short distance with no assistance. As far as I am concerned this is nothing short of a miracle. Dr. Hyder and his associates made my family and I extremely confident and comfortable with their recommendations.

I have had Dr. Hyder do 3 procedures on me, because I have had severe spine problems most of my life. He's the best. I love the office staff, scheduling is prompt and having the physical therapy in the same space is very convenient. With all of my problems, past, present & future, I'm glad that I was referred to Dr. Hyder to help me along.

I’m from Michigan and was working in Indiana when I began to experience severe neck pain which led to pain/numbness in my left arm for three days. After a trip to the local ER, I was referred to Dr. Hyder by a family member and after contacting them and leaving a message on Sunday, they reached out to me on Monday, scheduled me for an appointment and emergency MRI, accurately diagnosed my issue (three collapsed vertebrae in my neck) and got me into surgery by Friday the same week! I had IMMEDIATE relief upon waking in recovery and have been problem free ever since. A HUGE thank you to Dr. Hyder and the whole staff @ NWI Spine Institute for responding so quickly and appropriately knowing I was out of town and dealing with a serious issue. I highly recommend this facility and staff to take great care in diagnosing and resolving and spine related problems!

Dr. Hyder is tremendous awesome! The entire experience was pleasant. I feel amazing after my surgery. This office and staff is the greatest!

My experience with Dr Hyder is nothing short of remarkable. Within weeks (results will vary by individual case) and I mean 10-14 days, Dr Hyder’s procedure erased the pain and quality of life issues plaguing me for over a decade. I was a competitive athlete and suffered several recurring herniated discs (L4/L5) over the years. Flare ups, chronic pain, primary care visits, physio, chiropractic, massage, stim, meds, flare up, pain, repeat PT...if you’ve been there, you know what I mean.

Dr Hyder consulted with me and ordered a comprehensive set of diagnostic test (x-ray, MRI, etc) and SHOWED me the loss of disc height at L4/L5. Also described what was happening due to the loss of disc height. I was apprehensive but he described his minimally invasive technique, directed me to YouTube where there was a video of him performing the procedure and I decided I wanted to live pain free.

I’m an avid golfer and business executive. I explained to Dr Hyder my objectives, both personally and professionally and we set forth on a plan. It also helps that Dr Hyder trained under Dr Guyer at Texas Back. For those who don’t know, Dr Guyer is the one who performed the surgery on Tiger Woods that help him win The Master less than 18 months later. I was hooked. Perhaps for ambitious and selfish justification but I wanted a better quality of life and to reduce pain. The discomfort and pain was starting to impact my life on an emotional level.

We scheduled the surgery,, it was an out patient procedure and I home the same day. Zero disc pain. Zero. Some discomfort at incision site and some muscle soreness but that was all. Within 4 days, the incision site pain started to dissipate. My 3 week follow up set the path for physio and improvement to core strength, flexibility and sustainability.

I’m 3-months removed and people cannot believe my progress. Heck, people told me after a week that I was a different person. Less pain, happier, optimistic on my physical, etc.

As I said, results with vary with everyone and you probably thing I’m a plant or paid reviewer. I’m not. I’m a person who has spent their career in the medical field and I’ve seen some incredible things and this probably tops the list. Email me if you’re even contemplating this. I owe a lot to Dr Hyder, Mike, Dawn and all the folks at the surgical suite. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Dr. Hyder and his office staff are top notch. He is a caring and concerned physician. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that he is a doctor of osteopathic medicine.

They were able to get me an appointment within a week. If you have had imaging done somewhere else it’s best to get the cd and bring it with you for the doctor. Staff is friendly and professional.

I sat for over an hour waiting to only be rushed when I was finally seen. After doing routine x-rays, they called “Mrs. Josephine,” when I’m clearly a male named Joseph and a previous patient of this office. I would at least like for the office personnel to look at my paperwork long enough to realize who the patient is. My first appointment was with his assistant Mike and he was very knowledgeable with wonderful bedside manner and I had the exact opposite experience today. When doing intake questions, Dr. Hyder was communicating with me through the hallway and I even had to ask if HE was the doctor, as I’ve never met him. By the end of the appointment I was given a pamphlet on stretching and prescribed a high dosage steroid. There was no communication on my progression or regression from my last appointment. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I've had over 10 spine surgery's but my dr retired so I went to dr Hyder and he did my surgery, sent me home day after surgery which my other dr never would do, could not walk and took me 6 months to walk again and to this day, I can't walk even half a block, can't stand long, This has damaged my life...
