You’re immediately greeted and can feel the appreciation for your business from the minute you step into this place. Their barbacoa is so tender, juicy, and full of flavor! The tamales were delicious, flavorful, and moist.

You can taste and appreciate the effort and time that is put into everything this place makes…and that is something that is not easy to find nowadays!

We will definitely be back!

Went looking for a specific spice for beef tacos, and the worker was so helpful. Another customer saw he was out of pico, and the man went in back and made pico in a few minutes. Not many stores will do that.

The little market has all the essentials for cooking authentic Mexican food. They even provide their own ready to eat- tamales (pork,chicken, jalap chz), steak for tacos, rice, beans, salsa, guac, queso dip. All the ready to eat food was reasonably priced. I bought chicken and jalap chz tamales and they were amazing. Topped them with hot salsa that was delicious and actually hot! They offer mild,medium, and hot for different preferences. Go there and get food!

The chicken tamales and elote dip were excellent! Amazing customer service as well. Will definitely be back.

Cutest little taco joint that I've missed since I've been here in Indiana but I will definitely be back I guess the little man who waited on me is the owner he is such a sweetie pie and the food is absolutely amazing see you guys soon definitely coming back

The heart and soul in this place is palpable. I took my son 8n for the first time to pick up some fresh tamales. We were greeted by the owners as if we were long time friends. After shopping around for a while, the woman owner brought my son a book. Explained they were her daughters when she was younger and instead of getting rid of them, she was handing them out when children came in the store.

Food is top tier Hispanic food.

We've purchased to go and had catering. Both are wonderful. They make great tamales, love their guacamole. I love being able to stop and grab dinner to take home!

What an awesome little hidden gem! As soon as you walk in you’re immediately welcomed and greeted. I assume it was the owner who was working today and he was very kind! We’ve only been in NWI for a few years now after moving from the Chicagoland area. My family and I have been going to another place in cedar lake for tamales since moving here and while they are also great, I think this place makes them even better! We will definitely be coming here often to try more!

We’ve been buying tamales from the Little Market for years - best tamales in the area hands down. They are tasty and they don’t skimp on the meat like other places in the area.

The various dips and salsas are all fresh and delicious. My favorite dip is the Elote dip. It’s so so good! The guac is the standout. It is the best I’ve EVER had… and I usually don’t care for guac.

Definitely try this place if you need salsas, dips, and tamales!

I have had tamales from just about every place in the region. These are hands down the best tamales in northwest indiana. You cannot beat the generous filling, amazing flavor, consistent quality and resonable prices. Also the man that runs this place is super kind hearted.

Great authentic Mexican food, fresh carnitas, Barbados and tamales every day. Love that they will make you fresh guacamole if you want it. Service is always quick and friendly. Great addition to the compound area.
