Indiana Restaurant

My husband and I went to try it for the first time & the food was absolutely as delicious as it looks! 😍 110% recommend, friendly staff and calm environment to enjoy an amazing breakfast with your family! Will be going back soon!!

I came to get gas in Indiana because it's cheaper than Illinois and found this cute little restaurant!
I got the Greek chicken breast sandwich and they graciously put it on pita bread instead of a bun! It changed the whole dynamic of the sandwich! Their lemon rice soup was absolutely delicious. You can tell that it's homemade and there's a little something different about it, which makes it out of this world!
The owner explained why they add the gratuity to checks over $20 and it makes perfect sense. People were not tipping or they were tipping $2 on a check that was over 50! And it's printed in their menu.

We will definitely be back when we're in the area again!

It is definately a hidden gem in east chicago. Food was prepared to perfection. Savory and portions were good. Service was amazing and the decor was very relaxing. Had a great experience. Highly recommend

Very clean little restaurant with a great server and delicious food. Breakfast was a LARGE skillet and 2 pancakes. More than enough to hold me til dinner. Coffee was definitely a strong point.

It's a great little gem of a restaurant. The staff is super friendly, the food was good, almost too much lol. The online menu pricing is pre-Covid so except to pay a little more in restaurant.

I eat here often, and the food is great. Their customer service is good. However, they desperately need more help. Especially taking orders over the phone. Although friendly and polite, it's often a communication breakdown. Otherwise, it's an excellent family restaurant. I recommend it highly. 👌

I figured I would give this place a try since I was in the area. I got the Turkey club and soup, both were very good. The French fries were great as well.

Good food at a good price, I am definitely going back again!

It's the best dinner around.
Now that they are selling beers it gets better.

First time dining here and it was great. First impression was "this looks like a recent and fantastic remodel". Turns out we were kinda right after asking the hostess :) I had the corned beef hash omelette, and my partner had the "Indiana Special" (which our server had suggested). It was soooo good and definitely had enough for later. We have put this one on the list of "must come back to" 🙂

Super fast service and friendly attentive staff. A group of 8 of us had breakfast here 3 days in a row. The service was excellent and the food arrived at our table nice and hot and extremely quickly. After one visit, the server knew how everyone wanted their coffee, how they liked their eggs and what sides they preferred - right down to the extra crispy hash browns and double toast. I tried something different each day and everything was very tasty. I’d recommend Indiana Restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious breakfast at a reasonable price with outstanding service.

Mimosa and Corona are a nice pair with the Carne Mexicana Breakfast or good ol Country Fried Steak with Eggs paired with some hearty Biscuits and gravy! Yum!

One of my favorite local places to eat. You get an absurd amount of really good food for an amazingly cheap price, especially when ordering breakfast. Most of the staff has been there a really long time, and they're all very friendly (as well as being quick with the orders). Half the reason I go there is to chat with the waitresses! :)
Overall this is a great little breakfast & lunch restaurant and I feel confident recommending it to everyone I know (and now to a world full of strangers! :D)
