La Mexicana

We love this little place, small and always packed, Every time we drive into town this is the first place we stop morning or evening it's always hot and fresh and full of flavor

Came to buy Carnitas... I love the way they cook their Carnitas. The salasa and guac are also very good. Highly recommended.

Love this store! They have everything you need. Nice meat dept for grilling fajitas and/or chicken. All meat is marinated for homemade tacos. Mexican candies and cookies. Even a store front restaurant. Nothing fancy, but the food is delicious and not overpriced.

Absolutely loved the food. Tacos were huge and stuffed with meat. Definitely will return again. The table area could have been wiped down a bit, but it didn't bother me much. Price was fair. Boyfriend got the chicharon and salsa. Meat was nice and tender and that was delicious too.

I do shop here every once and a while, store is clean, organized, and things are easy to find.

Always clean...... Fresh meats..... Women could be more friendly....

Some of the best Mexican food in this area, hands down! Best gorditas, fire tacos, pork rib tips in a red hot sauce are great, enchiladas are awesome and their random daily specials are so good that they're usually sold out 4-5 hours after opening. This is One of my Two go to places in EC for Mexican, the other is El Michoacano!

La Mexicana is a great store with all your latin food products. The store is tight in size especially on weekends when it gets very crowded. You can find all your favorite meats at this store.

I been coming to this stores for over 20 years! They sell the best quality meat around!

They have a decent selection of basic groceries, but what makes this place truly unique is that a lot of products are imported from Mexico and some things are cheaper than the big grocery store chains. In addition, the taqueria here is hands down one of the best in the NW Indiana Region and very reasonably priced. If you like Mexican cuisine, I strongly recommend giving this place a try. You'll be supporting small local businesses and families by doing so, and you get an amazing deal for a win win.

My favorite grocer within my neighborhood! La Mexicana offers friendly and excellent shopping experience! I appreciate especially their poultry, beef, poultry and seafood. Indulging my appetite, by purchasing from their various mild versus hot tamales, bread assortments, and their chocolate long johns,--which are fresh daily! Lastly, I am desperately seeking,--to experience a meal from their restaurant section!

Their meat selection is always fresh, their service is fast. My only complaint is its so little you always feel like you're on top of someone.

Amazon Fresh is my favorite grocery store in the area! They have a beautiful flower selection, very fresh/high quality produce, and fast service.
