Washburne Park

I just love this park so much. It's never too busy, but it's absolutely gorgeous and there is always good people and dog watching! If you want a nice place to relax in the sun come here.

Near dark. Neighborhood Joe's taking their dogs out for exercise. Pleasing spaciousness. Here there be grass green and trees blue. A seeming unnoticeable stretch of open spaces, located in the heart of people passing through going home or elsewhere. An oasis, if you will. I know I will.

Pretty little park surrounded by trees & older well-cared-for homes. Have had many physically distanced meetups with friends here as there is plenty of open space. When it’s nice out it can get a little busy, but it’s never too been full when we’ve been there

So relaxing and plenty of space for everyone.

Beautiful place to bring children. Clean. Perfect grassy hill to roll down. Our granddaughter had a blast.

I absolutely love this art. It is by far my favorite and Eugene. The sunset That you see here is perfect and the trees for vibration peryou've provided great shade. The grass is also very soft and the people are very nice

It's such a beautiful park and the concerts are wonderful. Its located in a very safe neighborhood. There are some good places to eat just walking distance... And the ice cream shop... Well in my opinion can't be beat. Its a pleasant place to eat your ice cream and relax. Or gather some friends and play frizby... Awesome place to read as well. There's no bathroom but there is a porta potty and they keep it super super clean.

What a gem of a park that the City of Eugene gas in Washburne Park. Peaceful place to find a shady spot with a nice bench under a big tree to read your favorite book. Or enjoy a summertime open air concert. Or play Frisbee. Or lay down on the grass and roll down the sloping grass lawn. Something for everyone!

A nice city park, quiet, safe, and in the words of my 16yo daughter, "it's a perfect place for a picnic!"

Tuesday afternoons from 4-7 pm an open mic style venue is offered for local musical artists. Social distancing and mask wearing seems to be complied with. Two thumbs up! :-)

This beautiful neighborhood park is perfect for chilling with friends/family or studying, lounging, relaxing, etc. Within walking distance of fantastic dessert, food or a pint.

Not much ro do as far as playing hourse shoes oe volleyball but there is lots of green frass and the teee are amazing i really enjoyed watch the virds and squirrel that were there i would recommend this park for a picnic or just relaxing

Panda park! I'm not sure why it was referenced to me with this name, but it has stuck all these years and I forget that the proper name is Washburne. In any case, this is one of my favorite parks. It's wide and open with a lot of grass and trees for shade around the edge. It's a great place to throw a frisbee, play catch, bring your dogs, your kids, do slacklining, sun tan, etc. etc. There's something for everybody at this park. And there's Prince Puckler's right down the street!

Great park with lots of space and trees. Great place for a picnic or to throw a frisbee around.

Not such a great part for croquet but fabulous for bocce.

This park is home to one of Eugene's favorite redwood trees.

A beautiful park for a beautiful town. Big enough for a lot of people to picnic in, even with social distancing in effect!
