Freddy's Steak House

We enjoyed a great dinner at Freddy’s Steakhouse on a Saturday night. Such a cool, old school vibe….I felt like I was in a movie. It felt like a time warp to a different era.

We happened to go on the night the lounge singer was performing. I wish I knew his name, and I think he’s only there one Saturday a month. He sings Sinatra songs like nobody’s business, and he also does incredibly funny Rodney Dangerfield impersonations. He could easily be performing in some of the LA’s hottest restaurants & clubs…. If he wanted to!

We sat at the bar and had great service from the bartender. Everything was delicious from the soup, to the bread, to the salad, the baked potato, and finally the absolutely delicious New York strip steak. Everything was perfect! I don’t know how good a baked potato can be, but this one was so melt in your mouth delicious… I don’t even know how to describe it.

Prices are good for a steak, mainly because it includes all the extras.

I will recommend this place to all my friends and relatives who live in the area. Such a gem!

Oh, the Halloween decorations! They have amazing Halloween decorations, including a skeleton couple sitting at a table!

My only minor complaint was that I found the big television screens distracting from the charming atmosphere. It distracted from the experience for me. I think the TVs should be turned off when they have this amazing lounge singer performing.

I absolutely love the comfort and environment that Freddy’s has to offer. The food is outstanding. You can always count on the staff to make your dining experience a wonderful one. I love how everyone goes out of their way to make sure your meal and time is a great experience.

I recently heard of the incident where people came in and tried to stiff the restaurant, while putting down the staff. There was also a remark of the people of the establishment being racist. I have been there many times, and there has always been a mixed crowd smiling and enjoying their food. I think the queen that made the comment, should find another castle to go to!

Sorry Freddy’s this happened to you. Just keep on shining, and providing great food, and service.

This place is amazing!! The staff has such a positive attitude and just sweet all around! Food is amazing and the atmosphere is comfy and relaxing! Jodi was our waitress and she was just amazing! Billy was so sweet and has just a great attitude! Highly recommend this place!!❤

Great music! Waitress very friendly. My ribs were perfect. And my honey's leg of lamb was very good. Dessert was sweet. I give this place a thumbs up. Christy and Cat were excellent!

Me and my hubby came to visit this neighborhood restaurant and I mean this place was outstanding from the food to service. I will definitely be back. Our waitress Jessica was friendly and made us feel welcome.

Went to Freddy's tonight with a friend. Our server was Billy. Great server! Very friendly and accommodating. His wine suggestion was on point. Wonderful atmosphere. Will be back soon.

Perfect place when you want to go someplace "special". Food is fantastic and service top notch. I really liked the French Onion soup. They have a real 1970's steakhouse mood.

Classic and classy steak house. Nostalgic atmosphere like stepping back in time. Food is excellent. Service is great as well. Cat really made the experience great. Very enjoyable.

Great local steakhouse. Steaks are the feature, and they don't disappoint. The sauteed lake perch may be the best in the region. The pork chops are often overlooked and are excellent. One of the top 3 burgers in NWI and at a very reasonable price point. Always great service. One of the last spots in the area for the old school steakhouse/supper club vibe. Always enjoyable.

Amazing spot with phenomenal steaks and other entrees! Some may be surprised, but you have to actually pay for your food!!! 😏🤭😏 I can't wait to come visit again and tell everyone how great this place is🤗💓

Started with a sampler appetizer and baked oysters. We moved on to the soup then salad. I had the pan seared Waleye with double baked potato. He had a crusted Parmesan whitefish . It was all fabulous!!!!!
The atmosphere is rich and dark with an old gangster meeting ambiance that I love from the old days; I hope they never change that!
Jackie, our server, is definitely great with people and we just like her.

Magnificent! I had salmon at another restaurant last week that couldn't even compare to the Honey Salmon here. Loved it!

I've enjoyed family dinners, private dates and meetings here. I also have experienced their holiday special meals. They NEVER disappoint!

I love their Poor Boy steak sandwich and their cocktails! They are a little pricey for every day dining, but they have great service, delicious and tender steaks and freshly baked bread! Yum! My mouth waters just thinking about their choices!!

My family loves freddys steak house! The food is so delicious & the prices cannot be beat. Always my top spot for steaks! YUM
