New China Restaurant

We recently moved to Hobart and have been on the hunt for a good place for Chinese food. We decided to try New China Restaurant last night, and let me tell you.... I think we found our Chinese food place!!! Food was very good and very hot!! Have left overs that will make at least 2 more meals probably. I had the triple chop suey and pot stickers and my husband did the orange chicken and egg rolls. Highly recommend if you want good authentic Chinese food!!

Still great food!! If I luved closer and had more money I'd eat there everyday at least once if not twice!!

Best chicken fried rice around this area. Orange chicken, beef and broccoli and the egg rolls are good too

Love this place, great food especially Egg fu Young with shrimp and the waitress is always friendly.

Fantastic food, great prices and great service.
The food here is wonderful and the staff are very pleasant.
I highly recommend the Egg Foo Young (my favorite is the pork - just excellent).
Their chicken rice soup is just about perfect and their Sweet/Sour is absolute perfection.
Great vegetarian options, too.
Seriously, try this hidden gem and you will become a regular.

This place is by far the best Chinese restaurant in all of NWI in my opinion,great overall dining experience,the waiters,the owners make your dining experience worth the trip and the $$$,trust me you won’t be disappointed.

Meet a friend here for lunch maybe every couple of weeks. Place is not much to look at BUT we really enjoy their food. We usually order from their Monday to Friday lunch menu. Have not had one thing that we didn’t like. We are always ready to go back there for another tasty meal.

Food was great and its always a good time . One of my favorite places to eat.

I’ve been to many Chinese restaurants since I moved to Indiana and I finally found the best one!! It is the closest to what I grew up with in Illinois as I have found. The pork fried rice was amazing. It has the egg in it and no peas. A light brown color. I will be back for sure!!

Great prices, fast and friendly service whether you're eating in, carrying out, or having your meal delivered. Very clean!

Food is absolutely amazing, the staff was really helpful and friendly.

I usually get my favorite shrimp chop suey with the egg rolls and the egg drop soup with scallions

Don't listen to any of these low star reviews because this food is good! And the breaded chicken is actual white meat. We got several different things and all were great and super affordable.

Friendly service and good food. There are several veggie selections on the menu, and they modified two more. We had spicy Sichuan chow mei with tofu and General Two's tofu. Very good and gently spiced in a way that is a nice change from the sweet, cloying sauces often used in restaurants.

Ordered for delivery.. Great service! Made a small mistake but they went above and beyond to fix it! Plus they have the best food in the area

Great food and prices! Wish they were still open on Sundays, but I can live with them being closed atleast one day out of the week!

They have dine in and carry out. Love this place! The food is great and not expensive. This place is so good we eat there at least twice a week.

The food is Great & the owners are very friendly.
Can't wait until I can actually go sit in the restaurant and order a meal to eat there...
