This place has changed my life! I am no longer scared of the dance floor, I am no longer a spectator that wishes I could dance. Me and my wife go out dancing every weekend and have a blast showing off our moves! The team at Arthur Murray Merrillville is the best and they make you feel comfortable from the beginning. They do a wonderful job teaching. Specific shout outs to Caroline, Paris and Rachel from taking me from someone that could barely dance to being able to make our dream wedding dance come true. It started off as just for the wedding but dancing will be something we keep as part of our life now.

I just started taking lessons at Arthur Murray’s a few weeks ago and I love it! My instructor is brilliant and the group classes are a blast. Everyone is so helpful and I’m having a lot of fun. I’m really glad I started going. 💃🏽

Everyone that works there is amazing. Our primary instructor is Lisa, she has been a blast. My wife and I are learning so much and having tons of fun in the process. Jonathan has been a huge help and fun to dance with as well. Julie and Paris, while we haven't danced with them, they have been amazingly friendly and fun to be around as well.

I started learning to dance at Arthur Murray Merrillville about 2 1/2 years ago at the age of 70 and quickly discovered that I had picked the right place to start my education. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the facilities are top-notch and Tony, Julie, Cori, Jonathan and Liz all quickly become friends. They are all talented dancers, great instructors and warm, friendly individuals who quickly make you feel like family. The whole experience has been positive in every way and I would recommend AM Merrillville to anyone who wants to open a new chapter of their life. I’m glad I did!

Arthur Murray Merrillville is such a fun place to be any day of the week! My husband and I started when we needed something fun to do together (other than your typical dinner and movie). The teachers are great and so are the other students. Its a great place to hang out and make new friends while doing something fun and getting a good workout! Come check them out if you want to try something new!

The staff is friendly and outgoing . We really enjoyed our lessons and the groups dancing was a fun way to learn as well. We highly recommend Arthur Murray they are number one.

I have been a student of the Arthur Murray Merrillville Dance Studio for a few years now and I’m not planning on leaving anytime soon. Tony, Julie, and Their dance instructors and Admin staff create such a warm, welcoming environment that it makes you, well, just want to dance! No matter if you think you have two left feet, they will show you that you don’t——and you will have fun along the way. But, most importantly if you give it a real chance, it will challenge you in ways you have yet to be challenged. And you will find out wonderful things about yourself that you, up until now, didn’t know. Specifically, it improves health, mood, disposition and confidence. Those are pretty basic and all good take always. But, once you challenge yourself in dance, you may even discover you can challenge yourself in other aspects of your life, and then YOUR LIFE opens up to you. It starts with just moving your feet to a little music, but it exponentially shifts so much more than that. The first step, though, is to have an open mind and to walk through the door. Then let the magic begin.

I have been a member of the Merrillville Arthur Murray Dance Studio for several years. If excellent dance instruction, within a pleasant social invironment is something that you are looking for, than you have found the perfect location in Merrillville, IN. At Arthur Murray's in Merrillville, they teach the BASICS of really good "lead and follow" techniques for both smooth and rhythm dancing. In this studio, the instructors will supply you with the necessary training and coaching, at your own pace, to become an accomplished (Social and/or Showcase) dancer. Enjoy!!

We had a great time learning to dance. It was a good way to have a scheduled date night for when life gets to busy. It's also a great way to meet a lot of great people and have fun at the same time.
