Maxine's On Green

Said it 20 times, I’ll say it 20 more. Maxine’s is the 95-96 Chicago Bulls of sandwiches. The Turkey Bravo is a sandwich I think about at least once a day. I’ve had other menu items, which were also fantastic, I just can’t get away from the Bravo. The sides are killer as well. If you want to experience a French fry from another planet of deliciousness, order up. You’ll see. My lady and I love to lunch there, or grab carryout on lazy days. I can confidently say we’ve never had a bad meal or experience here. The food is always perfect temp and quick.

Hats off to Hannah and her killer crew she has making this place happen. If you’re curious (which you must be because you’re reading reviews) - here’s your sign.

GET SOME!

The risotto was out of this world. But don’t miss the southwest salad or the chocolate decadence cake. The service was as good as it gets. We even bought food to take home, we were so impressed. Enjoy!

A friend and I tried Maxine's for dinner last night and we were both very pleased and impressed. The shrimp and grits were outstanding, as was the risotto with asparagus. Maxine's has been a favorite for lunch, and now their dinner menu is just superb. I will definitely return.

Started with the Ritz to drink which was very refreshing and had a delicious grilled chicken sandwich with Brussels sprouts. It was delicious! Great place to eat and catch up with a friend we haven’t seen in a while! Would def recommend!

I love Maxine's on Green! The food is always delicious and fresh, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is fun and classy. Her lunch menu is great, but her new night menu is amazing! The risotto is wonderful, and I love the wine selections!

First time eating at Maxine’s on Green:
I am very picky or critical when it comes to my food (so my wife says). That being said ,this food was absolutely amazing. 12 oz ribeye cooked and seasoned to perfection, garlic mash, and asparagus! It was better than multiple 4-5 star restaurants I’ve eaten at. My wife had the shrimp and grits which I definitely sampled. Absolutely amazing as well!! And I certainly tried my 9yr olds cheeseburger. Best burger ,hands down , I’ve ever had at a restaurant.
The menu was amazing as well. Enough options to suit almost every pallet but not overwhelming!
I don’t write reviews often, usually of the negative sort if I do. However, this place deserves nothing but positivity! New favorite restaurant! And the best part, I don’t have to drive to Indy!! This is going to be dangerous for my wallet being that it’s so close but definitely worth every cent!!

We celebrated our anniversary dinner here! Everything was top notch from the onion blossom with the best jalapeño ranch, to the delicious blackberry lemonade cocktail, and finally our awesome entrees! Cacy was the best server!! Compliments to Hannah the chef, & her awesome staff!

My boyfriend and I went here for our 2nd anniversary and the food and service did not disappoint!! Our server was so sweet and caring! Thank you to everyone who made our experience great!!

A wonderful addition to my mom's 92nd birthday celebration! The Thin Mint cupcakes were delicious! We had dinner there earlier in the week and everything was amazing! Love having this option in town.

Fantastic meal, fantastic environment! Maxine's on Green may be my new favorite restaurant in town. I had the buffalo chicken wrap, which is absolutely great!

This place is amazing! We ordered two cakes for my daughters’ party and currently ordering another for our son! Hannah and her crew are absolutely amazing! The service is outstanding and the cake is so good! Let’s not even start talking about the food; we will be here all day 🤤 Everything about this place is Heaven!

My husband and I went to Maxine's for the first time tonight for dinner and it might be our new favorite in the area! The food was perfect and the service was excellent. We'll be back for sure!

We were actually renting a vrbo rental on the same block as the restaurant. We ran into the owner of Maxines while we were confused where our entrance was and she was kind enough to show us so i decided to visit her restaurant the next day. I was just dropping in for snacks. I got a slice of cheesecake, flourless chocolate cake, and a few cookies. All of the items were delicious and i would love to stop in for real food next time im in town. The only negative is that i can say the slices of cake were a little over priced but they were fresh and when she thought i wanted gluten free cookies she offered to go in the back and make me some real quick. Her customers are clearly important. The only reason i said 4 stars on food was because i got only snacks. As for service, the lady waiting on me was clearly new and probably should have had someone up there with her. Service was a little slow due to her having to go get someone alot to help her.

Casey was out server. She is super friendly and pays attention to details. I’d definitely come back here

Maxine’s on the Green was the caterer at our daughter’s wedding. I can’t say enough about how fun, easy to work with and professional Hannah is. She and her staff served our meal with ease and the food presentation was top notch. Our crowd had several dietary restrictions and Hannah handled those issues so easily. Another plus to Maxine’s is that she could also do the cake.. it was absolutely perfect!! Thank you Hannah and staff at Maxine’s on the Green

Chef Hannah and team are consistently 5-star, on point! All of the sandwiches, desserts, and pastries are fantastic - you can’t go wrong. They are also an excellent choice for a catered breakfast or lunch. Currently available for dinner and curbside pickup. A great spot to take a friend from out of town or host a work meeting!

Food is awesome! Server Angie was so attentive & helpful. Made our dining experience great.

I got the Turkey Melt and it did not disappoint! The bacon on it was cooked perfectly, the avocado was a spread which I wanted, the mayo wasn’t just mayo, it was chipotle mayo and the bread was toasted perfectly! That’s all not to mention the perfect ratio of everything on the sandwich to turkey. Everything was delicious! It was my first time here and we will be back!

One of my absolutely favorite local places, Maxines is cute, friendly, and has the freshest food! I recommend the Turkey Bravo sandwich for a great lunch that won't leave you hungry!
