The food was delicious!! And a good price too, we got all this for around $25. Highly recommend.

Awfully nice, quiet place to eat and relax. The food was perfect. The server seemed indifferent and should work on friendliness and attentiveness. Needed more to drink, but the server was largely absent.
I don't know who was involved, but the loud argument in the kitchen was not appreciated, highlighting the fact that 'They could quit right now!" Well, do it, sweetie, and get over yourself. People PAY to be here. If YOU want to go, just do it and leave the rest of us alone and away from your drama-field. This is not dinner theater.

The food was delicious and fresh. There was only one person waiting tables but she did a fantastic job , even though we had a fairly large group ... I am only in crawfordsville occasionally but i will be returning

First time we have eaten at this restaurant. We had great service with 15mins for pick up. Very friendly and clean and good Covid-19 practice. My girls 2 and 5 loved it and ate almost a roll by themselves. The udon noodles were fantastic and the broth was flavorful. Best gyoza(potstickers) I have had. Highky recommended for those who love sushi.

Mine and bestie's new favorite place to eat! STRONGLY recommend the bento boxes! A perfect serving size of five or six things and makes for a very satisfying meal! The sushi is fantastic, and we've gone in several times just to eat the fried rice and soup.

It has a nice atmosphere, kind of small, but normally not busy, there were four people eating including myself. The lobster rangoons were good, and so were the spicy crab rolls. The dessert options (pricing, what they offered, portion sizes) were all a kind of disappointment.

We came on a Saturday around 5pm. We were the only ones in the restraunt, which was nice and quiet.

The prices were easy on the wallet, our server was very kind and helpful, & the food was as good as expected.

We will definitely be visiting Yamato again.

Good food. Soup and salad before the main course was pretty good. Im not a big fan of mushrooms but even liked the mushrooms. Everything we had was cooked fresh.

I frequent this smazing joint. Fair pricing. Low wait time and owners and staff are great. Sushi isnt the only thing. They have great fried rice meals too. I highly recommend.

My wife has recently started to enjoy sushi and we live in the middle of nowhere so a good sushi option is about an hour drive any direction. We discovered Yamato one day going shopping and wow. The food is so good, the service is top notch, and it's way closer than any other options. I highly recommend Yamato House of Japan if you are into this kind of food option!

I love this restaurant. They have amazing sushi both raw and non raw fish to choose from. I love their vegetable Udon soup. Their Hibachi beef tips with side of rice. Very friendly employees. Highly recommend.

High-quality, fresh, and well-made sushi rolls and other apps/side dishes (gyoza, edamame, spring rolls). Glad we have them in town.

The inside was less formal than we expected but the food was fast and amazing! Loved the Salmon bento box and the Yamato sushi rolls! Our server Vicki was very quick, polite and efficient. Everything came out perfect, especially the Salmon and some of the best miso soup I ever had! Very reasonable prices. Can't wait till next time we are in town!
