This is a beautifully maintained park, with lots of walking trails. We went before the Rhododendrums were fully blooming, but it was still so pretty, with many other blossoms. One of the prettiest parks I've ever been to.

Excellent place to visit, fun walking paths and beautiful rhododendron gardens. Great location for dates, family, dog friendly with clean restrooms. There’s a lot of great history here to learn about.

Five stars for this amazing garden set high on a hill. All the rhododendrons were blooming. The beds and walkways are meticulously maintained. Dozens of varieties were on peak bloom display. Some of the plants were quite old and were tremendous. Great time to visit before the blooms all drop.

Our walk through the rhododendron gardens was so brilliantly colored. The only comments being heard were this place feels like a dream. Hurry get there while the flowers, trees, and bushes are in bloom

Beautiful park with lots of flowers & flowering trees (some flowering even now in late February!) & some nice views of Eugene in spots through the flora. Low impact/easy trails with lots of trees, birds, bathrooms & a pavilion for a small group picnic, but parking can be a challenge when busy. Please drive carefully & be respectful as it's nestled in a peaceful & quiet community with limited sidewalks so lots of foot traffic on the roads.

Of course, I would have to visit this beautiful park, the wrong time of year... Even though I didn't get to see any of the beautiful flowers, it was still a very gorgeous park! I could only imagine what it looks like when everything is blooming?! Deffinately a place to walk around if you like parks, even if it is the wrong time of year to see it in all of it's beauty.

If you're looking for a beautiful and quiet hike with or without your dogs you need not go any farther than right here. The woods are so thick you'll forget that you are still in town. The trails are clean and well cut. I have not had the chance to explore all of it yet, but I do have that goal in mind.

Found a geocache hidden here!
We visited for a celebration of life of a dear friend. We rented the shelter they have which was perfect. Awesome that they had a fire place too. We had a fire so of course I had to go get marshmallows to roast! Kids loved it!

We rode bikes up here, pretty tough hill climb. Lovely gardens with trails to wander, and some amazing homes as well. Worth checking out!

Hendricks park is a amazing place, good spot to hang out with your significant other late at night. Or chill and relax, one of the best spots to get out of the summer sun!

Great park with quiet and peaceful trails nestled in the redwoods. The Rhododendron garden and native plant garden do not allow dogs so make sure you leave the pups at home if you want to check out those gardens. Plus the little picnic area is simply gorgeous. Definitely wedding ceremony worthy for a smaller wedding.

What a great experience. We saw a deer on oak loop trail. Lots of fairly steep grades and lots of easy ones too. You have to take the steep ones if you want to see the cool things though. Some weird stone table on one of the trails.

Hendricks park in bloom is hands-down the most magical place I have ever been to in my life. I had the opportunity to walk the park daily and I will never forget the sights I've seen. Pure natural beauty!

It's really beautiful! It has a lot of flowers and trees ad bushes that are tagged with they names. Paths are clean and safe and there is a lot of benches to sit and rest and look at nature. There's also some picnic tables on other parts of the park.

Stunning rhododendrons of a pastel rainbow of colors in May. Hills are steep, but there’s a path. Highly recommend for dog walkers and flora admirers.

My first time here and I brought my kids with for a quick walk just to get out since it had been rainy for about a week. It’s a nice place to go for a walk with a nice little hike. We went to the rhododendron garden and a lot of trees, flowers etc weren’t blooming so it wasn’t as colorful as I had expected it to be but the ones that were, were beautiful. Definitely going back in about a month or so to see if there’s a change.

Beautiful in Spring and Fall with great picnic areas, including a sheltered set of tables. The month of May brings about an amazing Rhododendron Forest / Garden that will delight and amaze the gardeners and non-gardeners alike. Pretty straightforward parking options, bathrooms and plenty of hiking trails that include native gardens as well. Lots of benches a lovely meadow and a beautiful bird bath sculpture too. Dog friendly through most of the trails but they are not allowed in the Rhododendron garden.
