Yuki Japanese Restaurant

Yuki is really good. It's a little bit crusty on the inside (like a molding hanging off the ceiling here and there type thing) but the service is good and the sushi is great. I really enjoyed the Caterpillar roll. The Dallas roll is also really good. I'll be going back here for sure.

Amazing Salmon! Fresh, good flavor, and good looking! Highly recommend! The Maitai roll is good too. They have a 30% discount menu of sushi for happy hour. Average $5-$7 per roll. Very delicious. Better than a lot of sushi places in Los Angeles.

Mine and my boyfriend's first date spot in 2015. Been going back regularly since. The interior was rethought to allow for more seating. The sushi is always the freshest we've ever had so we drive all the way from Hillsboro to eat here instead of at any of the many mediocre locations on our side of town. Happy hour menu is smaller than before but still a bigger variety than most places. This meal cost us $74 + tip which is good considering size, quality & freshness of seafood ♥(1 roll is missing from this image as well as the 2 miso & 2 salads)

Damn good lunch specials. Love this place well priced fresh fish with non of the tourist hype. Great after working out at LA Fitness. Highly recommended

Cute, quaint sushi restaurant on Broadway - the perfect waypost for Lloyd District date nights and outings.

First and foremost, Yuki Sushi is incredibly lavish & upscale, while still being rather affordable. My GF and i were able to split two full-sized sushi rolls (Portland Oregon rolls, yum!) Ingredients are fresh ad high-quality, which makes all of the difference!

Secondly and just as importantly, but the ambiance of this spot is worth a visit alone. Traditional Japanese art adorns the walls, but modern Pop music plays on the stereo, drifting on the breeze while the staff watched hockey on a big screen TV. It's the right mixture of authenticity without pandering. It's a mellow, super high-quality restaurant for people that love Japanese food and sushi. That is all.

Finally, and also just as importantly, but this is one of the first sushi restaurants my girlfriend and i ever ate at. We didn't have much money when we lived closer to Broadway. This was one of the first places we visited when we first started dating and were clawing our way out of starving artist land.

It's beyond meaningful to be able to just dip in here and get a couple of sushi rolls and some green tea on a sunny afternoon, shopping for Halloween supplies and just being together. I sat and quietly read my book while my GF scrolled IG as we were waiting for our food. Rihanna rode the airwaves while golden Oct. sun shifted slantwise through the blinds. A truly peaceful, blissful feeling, quiet and subtle and all the more meaningful because of it.

Recommend this sushi spot if yr ever in NE/Lloyd District and are looking for a reprieve from the madding crowds.

I'm normally not one to frequent Japanese style restaurants, but my co-workers dragged me in despite my protests. I ordered the soup with buckwheat noodles and it was extremely delicious. The Yuki Japanese Restaurant doesn't skimp on portion size and I only made it about 1/2 way through before I raised the white flag. Soup base was rich, but not overly so, and the texture of the noodles were firm. Crowd size during lunchtime was fairly low, and we were served within 10 minutes of ordering. Keep it up Yuki, you might make a believer in Japanese cuisine out of me yet.

Super dank sushi spot with great sake. Most extensive veggie sushi selection I've ever had. So good and super affordable for sushi. The wait staff was also very attentive and friendly.

This place is really, really good. Their happy hour deals are great, and the food is stellar!! Definitely try the KFC roll, it has fried chicken in it, interesting and delicious. Really everything I've had from there is wonderful, I live almost 2 hours away and drive up just for their tasty food.

Stopped in with a small group, on a friend's recommendation. Ordered a San Francisco Roll, wife ordered a couple other rolls (didn't catch the names) and some Chicken Yakisoba for the kids.

Sushi was fantastic, especially considering the price. Yakisoba was good, not the style I'm used to but I won't knock them for it. I like a thicker yakisoba noodle and more chicken, less veggie.

Will stop by again next time I'm in the area.

An actual Japanese restaurant with great sushi and sake, not some sushi factory with dry food and no service. I'm always impressed with how kind and attentive the staff is, and the food is delicious and comes out fast. Overall one of my favorite restaurants for my lunch break.

My colleagues and I go here frequently. We always get great service. The prices are very reasonable. The food is good. I don't have a favorite go to dish, but I've been happy with the various items I've tried. Yum!

The rolls have been great every time I've come here, and one of the times was pretty close to closing too. They have some cool special rolls up on the board, a decent sake selection (probably not for the connesieur, but for general purpose, yes), and the standard run of Japaenese beers. Service was well timed and executed.

Always really liked this place. Very friendly. Stabdout dishes would be the yakisoba, salt broiled mackarel, and anything off of the sushi menu. Today we tried the steamed clams and the teriyaki eggplant apps and they were a little disappointing. I'd stay away from these. Teriyaki chicken is awesome, as are the don buri bowls. Always with a large Asahi, please.

Seriously my favorite sushi place in portland. I take my sushi very seriously. This place is great, the sushi is good, the roll selection is great, even their other japanese food on the menu is marvelous. The happy hour menu makes it even more worth it if you can make it, and that shouldn't be hard!

Everytime I can I stop here for sushi. The rolls are delicious and there is a 30% off happy hour menu from about 11:30am to 4ish. Portions are generous and the food is delicious. I highly recommend it.
